This is a saguaro cactus! It's a tree-like species of cactus that can grow up to 25 arm-like branches with age, although some never grow arms and are called "saguaro spears". It's native to the deserts of Arizona, Mexico, and California, and it is one of the world's largest cacti. All kinds of birds nest inside holes in the cacuts, which are large enough for a family of woodpeckers or finches to live inside unnoticed.
