Life is suffering - this is a fact you'll all get to know sooner or later. The real question is what can be done or how should you live despite the suffering to make life worth living. Living hedonisticly or selfishly just won't cut it. These are theories of 18 year olds. One of the answers to this is to follow what is meaningful (not easy) in your life with complete surrender to God or some transcendent truth or highest value.
