All the blacks that I have to work with are stupid lazy asshole that just play their shit rap music over the warehouse radio and would rather stand around and talk about sports or stupid bullshit instead of work.
A supermajority of black customers don't actually ever buy anything. They just waltz in the store and roam around touching shit and taking up space and blocking stuff for people actually interested in buying. They're the most annoying people to deal with especially when they ask for help because they're usually really rude on top of not speaking any form of English that I can understand on a regular basis (I've run into my fair share of latinos and even Arabs that don't speak English but at least they're humble about it and aren't rude assholes).
The ones that do buy stuff also never never bother actually looking for what they want. They walk in then demand to be told where the thing they want is despite there being giant signs plastered all over the store (all visible from the entrance) telling you where everything is. Sometimes it's even right in front of them but they don't see it because they can't be assed to look for it themselves. One time we had this idiot dindu buy a fucking GPS then he angrily returned it the next day because he as to fucking stupid to work it (I tested it, it was fully functional). The worst ones are the ones with kids. They keep almost zero tabs on their children and let them roam around touching fucking everything they can get their grubby little fingers on. Then when they get ready to leave they start screaming across the store for their kids like idiots.
The only decent nigs that I had an encounter with were clearly mixed.

Neither retail nor fast-food, but one of my best wagecuck jobs was being a lunch-tray lady at a dying shopping mall's food court. I'm not actually a lady but had to wear an apron and the other person that wasn't my supervisor was some 65 year old single lady with no children or friends of her own and wore too much make-up.
Anyways my job was exactly just that, collecting dirty plastic trays from tables, cleaning the tables, cleaning the trays, handing the trays back to the fast food places, sweep the floors and sometimes mop up a spilled drink or something.
Didn't have to deal with soccer moms and their screaming babies who were asking to see me manager because I wouldn't let them combine expired coupons, didn't have to worry about shoplifters, didn't even have to walk to anyone.
Easily the best job I had, I want to go back now... ideally at a different shopping mall though.
The one negative aspect, beside working with a couple of 65 year olds that I had nothing in common with, was that I sometimes had to clean the women's washroom. Not the toilets or anything but just the mirror and sinks and floors, which was really awkward when I was walking in on some 10 year old girl taking a shit.

Grocery is definitely better than fast food.
Fast food brings in the worst types of people, and even normal people can be at their worst. It's just the mentality, people are in a hurry and they're hungry and they're expecting a cheap deal so they're going to be in a bad mood on so many levels.
Also fast food is the go-to place for stoners and drunk people and Chads and roody-poos and a group of 6 Staceys who all come in a little cluster and giggle the entire time. Not so much a grocery store, it's almost always just regular people buying groceries.

I used to work as a bag boy and cashiers would only be bagging if there wasn't a line-up. Cashiers would just scan the items and it was entirely up to us to bag the items as fast or quicker than they could send them rolling our way to make sure that some old lady's eggs wasn't crushed by watermelons. Retail made me significantly less racist against Hispanics: they often didn't/barely spoke English, but they'd come in, still in their service industry uniforms covered in stains, their eyes bleary and bloodshot, and it'd be clear that they were working very hard, which made it understandable to me that they might not have the time to learn. It's understandable why a naive person would be discouraged from seeing a listing they can't fulfill. Not wanting their own time wasted they don't waste others' time either. I often have trouble reading into things too. I either take things as literal when I shouldn't or I get tripped up looking for the secret message hidden in straightforward communication. Personally I think the tradeoff is worth it for the excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. Many of the busy bodies mistake focus and competence as laziness and try to bog down projects with irrelevant bullshit and it makes the directors job easier if you put the others down and make them feel stupid. Whenever either had a big event, the store would get fucking swamped, i'm talking lines just to get into the store, then lines snaking the entirety of the medium sized gas station so people could buy their snacks and 3.2% abv beer they couldn't even take into the venues. It was nonstop, super stressful overloads on those days.
The racecar hicks were bad, but the hippies that congregated for whatever big jam band festival were the absolute worst. They would smoke pot fucking everywhere (this was in 2005-2006); in the bathroom, in the parking lot, in the middle of the store. They would steal shit and usually be dicks even though they're "hippies".
One day someone drank too much or took too many drugs and puked everywhere in the restroom but the toilet. Filled the sink the entire way up. Nobody in the store wanted to clean it, I certainly wasn't going to for minimum wage, but one of the senior CSRs finally went and did it, almost puked himself.
I quit after three months, it was a long drive and way too stressful to endure.

Different anon, but just don't look suspicious. Employees generally don't bug the same person twice, so once one asks you if they can help, deny, and continue browsing for a good 2 minutes like you're looking for something then casually either remove it from it's packaging or remove the barcode. You can also take an electronics item of low value to another, less frequented department and do it there.
Another thing to note is if you're ever caught, drop everything you're trying to steal and run. Excuses won't work at that point and if they get a good luck at your face, you'd be lucky to go back there again if you needed to.
Try not having anything suspicious on like a jacket in the summer or a backpack for jogging in the winter or something. Dress like a normie and you'll fit right in. Don't make yourself recognizable and don't wear a hood or shades indoors unless you're making an impromptu exit. Plan your exits in advance and if it's in a mall, don't risk it. Leave the mall for a couple of weeks, maybe a month or two.
Know what you want to steal and understand the packaging ahead of time. When you try to steal it, work fast but careful. If you have any friends you can count on, that'll help. And most importantly, do it for a reason. Make what you steal worth it.

Ive been here a year a week from now (longer than any cook, 2nd longest in the store) and it's a shitty job but I honestly really like most of the people I work with, especially my fellow cooks. The pay is spotty. It's not under the table-tier work. It's just that we work in seasons, and every season the pay period resets and on the first check we get cycled back a week from the pay. So instead of getting paid biweekly for the first season's check, the first check is pushed back a week, and the biweekly check resets from that first check.
I am just kind of worried because I passed up my first real IT job at something around $30,000 a year to stay here and this season the pay is something around 5-6 weeks late. We didn't get paid three weeks in, and we still have not been paid now, which is either 5 or 6 weeks in.

That's the price you tell customers. Round up to nearest whole number or multiple of 10 and subtract 1 cent. For example, if store paid $100, and you want 25% markup, 100 * 125% =$125 so good price is $129.99
For items you sell few of, markup should be around 40%, for items you sell a lot of, more like 20%, if it's a big item that takes lots of space to store, add 10% markup
