By OP's definition, I suppose I could be considered a stoic. I've had a worse life than anyone I've directly met (not trying to brag or anything, god no) and I dislike talking about my personal life or about myself. Only a very small handful of people I know irl know specific personal details about me. Even then, I'll sometimes get "I'm sorry" or similar remarks which is why I tend to remain quiet about myself when I interact with people. I've even had people stop associating with me after revealing certain facts about myself or my past. All I can assume is that I'm a constant reminder that the world is not made of rainbows and sunshine, and supreme normalfags cannot handle that.
