Robots, how do I make myself a WWII outfit? I'm willing to pay up to $120 (gun not included). Everything I find is either a general or an officer or just plain overalls.
Where do you live? In my town there are several army surplus stores, although they are all in the slightly worse part of town Bc cities don't want to zone those stores too often. I mean looks like you need boots, helmet, pants, harness, and that sweet ass canvas jacket. The surplus store will help. Why do you need it?
Also, you are making an American outfit right?

Because I wanna feel like a soldier and use it as a Halloween costume to look cool for the kids. And yes, yes I am.

Yeah, Philly has tons of surplus stores. You'll probably only see Vietnam era stuff though, which you can make work if you just buy the boots, pants, and a steel helmet. You can get the service jacket online or a nice equivalent there. Maybe look at an ammo belt or fake grenades instead of a whole.harness, just because the olive drab harness will be a bit tougher to find. Nowadays the civilian consumer grade ones are black and the military surplus uses Velcro iirc. I think checking the store will be your best bet

Sweet. I'm hoping to find that service jacket and the helmet with a net. The net is the best part. Thanks for the help. Definitely quicker than /cgl/.
