My autistic fantasy has been going since I was seven years old. I've been imagining the same drawn-out war fantasy through three generations.
When I was little I would use twigs as battleships, bits of paper as fighters, imaging sand falling from my hand as paratroopers.
Then I got to about age 13 and that pretty much went away. But I still imagined the story, and it grew in complexity. Used to just be something I did at school to pass the time, and that's what it's always been, something to fill in the cracks of my life.
After I turned 18 I started really developing the world some more. Started really working on the novel I'd written from it. If I were to really do this story justice I would out-do Henry Darger. I don't think I will ever get to 15,000 pages though. Right now I sit on a solid 528. I've covered 5% of the story maybe?
It just gives me feels that I can walk around a college campus at night and imagine a battle I have been building up to for months, in a storyline that's been going continuously since I was seven years old.

Can confirm, have been dangerously close to a severe narcissist and his sociopath buddy. The superficial charm was always turned up to eleven, but the strange thing was being autistic and naturally suspicious of others I saw through almost all of it and was able to point out to myself objective distortions, disingenuous rapport building, undermining of myself and others and exploitative leverage of that rapport, all while acting/pretending as though it worked as intended on me.
You can get into serious trouble admiring this type of person because you start to glorify those you find in your own life and substitute them for stable relationships. Playing some kind of massive war game in NYC, like Battlefield games but scaled way up, everything is realistic except for you don't die and only feel minor pain when hit but you do d/c and your body goes limp and you then spectate for a few minutes or longer before spawning back at the base which can be miles away from the action and you have to get transported there again so theres the incentive not to die so easily as its a pain in the ass to go back to your unit and the battle.
Anyways this is all some super advanced VR or shared dream or whatever, just not real life but very realistic. And I like to imagine battle scenes and shit happening, its two factions fighting it out for control of the city, modern day weaponry. Just turn the whole city and boroughs into a warzone, staging areas for one faction would be Coney Island, gained only through assault by sea and pushing the enemy back, I imagine Brooklyn would be the beachhead, and from there the enemy is pushed out back to Manhattan which is where the heaviest and most intense fighting occurs. And I like to imagine that control of the subway system would be most vital so lots of skirmishes happen in subway stations and tunnels, with neither side willing to destroy the infrastructure with explosives in a single place because being in control of the subways is vital for rapid supply and troop movement.
Sometimes I imagine different scenarios related to the main battle idea, like mechs and future weaponry used, sometimes imagining a daring but foolhardy airborne drop over Manhattan like Market Garden that goes horribly wrong and units are scattered and isolated, artillery support from the neighboring boroughs is nigh impossible due to all the tall buildings. And troops are isolated on the city streets and some on rooftops desperately calling for helicopter forces to pick them up but the Commanders and leaders of the factions wasted all their faction points with the airdrop and they have no air assets to spare.

I created a sci fi universe set in the future where a Where ac Socialist classless union(the union for socialist planetary republics USPR) fights a social darwinistic corporate oligarchy, the alliance of free systems(AFS) from the 28th to 30th centuries using alcubierre and space bending starships and ground forces mainly composed of hovering vehicles using plasma thrusters for propulsion.
There are various devastating weapons in use. Both factions use reliable and versatile railguns that can use many different projectiles, while the USPR uses also gluon plasma, antimatter and pulse laser cannons while the AFS uses turbolaser, meson accelerator, and particle cannons. There is fa lot of other detailed technologies in my universe, ranging from photocrystals, picotechnology, mind uploading, VR created tulpas, etc.
BTW the USPR is the robot faction because of its lack of a sexual market(everyone of every gender is equally desired), and autists are accepted and even form a major part of the coalition's leadership

What I mean by this is as the battle first begins each faction has a certain number of points and a main doctrine to specialize in, and those initial points can be spent at the start or saved up for more powerful assets later in the battle.
Additional points are gained for successful skirmishes and actions by the faction, each individual soldier earning points for their actions that fill up the faction points pool which the commanders can spend for purchasing new assets like helicopters, jets etc. Which the faction then has until they are lost or put out of action.
Anyways sometimes this fantasy is regular troops of one faction vs. another, and sometimes its males vs. females, but the females are all competent and skilled think Major from GiTS and other badass female protags.
So when I imagine it like to imagine a ton of lewd scenarios happening during the fighting, to me as a soldier fighting against the female factions.
Like I'm part of a recon squad sent into the city, we set up on a rooftop and top floor of a building, trying to appear as inconspicuous as possible, no lights, nothing that can alert the girls to our presence, since we're fuck deep behind enemy lines.
