same deal as normal papers, just go into more detail. add more chapers/sections and increase the number of words in each section
200 word introduction becomes 2000 word introduction, but split into maybe 1k words at the start plus a few subsections defining things like what your thesis questions is, etc.
instead of intro / middle / end in the standard 3-part essay format, have e.g. (this is for a STEM paper, idk about arts)
intro
literature review
methodology
chapter 1 on some aspect of what you did
chapter 2 on some aspect of what you did
chapter 3 on some aspect of what you did
conclusion
tables of figures, appendices, refererences, etc (don't count for wordcount)
just keep breaking it down into smaller chunks, use fancy language and more words, that kind of thing.
