you get type 2 diabetes due to bad diet. also genetics and age play a role too and the amount of physical exercise you get. this disease can simply be cured by changing your diet and lifestyle.
Type 1 diabetes is an incurable auto immune disease, which means your body's own immune system destroys the insulin producing cells, thus you need to inject insulin for the rest of your life or else you will die. the type 1 diabetic life is absolute shit tier, you can do nothing, without plannign ahead. want to do some physical exercise like riding your bike just for the fucks of it? well, you are fucked. you now either have to stuff yourself with TONS of sugar to make up for the insulin you still have in your body, or you wait a few hours.
want to take drugs? might kill you since it affects your body and insulindemand too and if you feel so sick that you cant eat anymore and puke all the time and ur glucose levels happen to get low then u might die.
also hypoglycemia fucks the heart, i get fucking hypoglycemias on a DAILY and recently my heart has been fucked alot, i get irregular heartbeat quite easily. i think i will die in my 30s, maybe even 20s if this continues. but well i was never supposed to live this far anyways according to nature (going without insulin kills you within days).

I literally know more about diabetes than my doctor. i fucking know everything that possibly can affect insulin demand/glucose levels, and whatever affects mine must be something random that's rather hard to foresee.
"other people" dont need to fucking eat 3500 calories or more in order to maintain their weight while being so underweight that they have very few injections sites so the ones they have get worn out fast. other people dont have those fucking problems. other people's stress levels alsoa ren't as dynamically as mine since i am an anxoius wagecuck robot who gets extreme stressresponses like normalshits only would on methamphetamines so gettiong the fucking glucose levells under control is even fucking harder.
my last insulin injection was 3 hours ago. 90 minutes ago my glucose levels went down to 80 from 90 slight drop. i drank a can of soda containing 80 grams of cancerous american high fructose corn syroup fast to compensate this shit. they went up to 100 and just dropped down to 80 again. Cancerous shit like that did not hjappen yesterday even though i did exactly the same shit yesterday.

Type 1, it appeared/manifested (idk the proper term for it) in her when she was 7 i think. She's pretty healthy, exercises and tries to eat well etc. They never properly got to the bottom of why hers was so unstable but due to the age it levelled out they decided it was probably hormone related, so when the hormones settled down more so did the diabetes.

How long have you had the instability for, and how old are you? Has it been the whole time you had diabetes? She got diabetes when she was 7, the instability was from like 18-23 I think so not the whole time. She was also underweight and is a healthy weight now since it stabilised. She doesn't have any heart problems from it.
You might have tried this already but if not maybe get your hormone levels for other shit tested and see if they are also unstable, and then try to stabilise them and see if it helps
