Not currently restoring here but a problem with a lot of the restoration advice online is that they don't take into account the different circumcision styles.
Sleeve resection style circumcisions really leave you with a completely different kind of dick than the Gomco (GOldstein Medical COmpany) clamp style circumcision.
Most restorers seem to be American, and most Americans were cut with the Gomco clamp, or alternatively the Mogen clamp, although I'm pretty sure the original Mogen clamp isn't used, since the company went bankrupt paying out lawsuits to the families of boys whose dicks it completely destroyed.
Guys with a sleeve resection circumcision where they sewed the shaft skin to the head have no inner foreskin membrane. Guys who had the Gomco cut have a totally different dick than the sleeve resection guys, so they really have no clue what it's like, and vice-versa.

What they can be useful for is sharing information, responding to counter-arguments in favor of circumcision to try to change people's outlooks and share information with them that they may not have been aware of previously, and stuff like that.
Also as I said before these threads serve as a useful tool for guys to talk about some men's health issues like phimosis, share experiences, etc.

These threads have made a difference. Back in the old days if someone said, "I have phimosis" people would say, "Well in your case I guess you have to get circumcised".
Now it's fairly common knowledge that there are tons of other ways to fix phimosis and if your doctor says you need to get circumcised for it, you can actually get a second opinion and you probably could get it fixed without such an extreme measure.

People would be surprised at how easy it actually is to murder someone. Also, lye doesn't create a burning or decomposing corpse odor. Cartel accounts report it being more of an amonia smell than anything. Lye is easily obtainable and has many household uses, it isn't suspicious behavior to buy large quantities of it unlike acids. Sulfuric (aka hardware store battery acid) will NOT dispose of a corpse. It is too dilute and would take weeks to even begin to make noticeable progress. Do not buy concentrated sulfuric acid either, it's regarded as highly suspicious. Lye is not.
