yh spend the last of their precious coin on building walls to keep out everyone else
this time they use a physical barrier rather than an economic one
but soon the great unwashed begin sharpening sticks, collecting rocks and building huge siege engines
The losses are great and the trained soldiers kill 1000s for each that dies but eventually they run out of ammunition and resort to killing with the crown jewels
The hordes eventually break through and descend upon the palace
they hesitantly rape the queen and more enthusiastically ravage the corgis
the southerners who were unexposed to the foul viruses of the north die of a great new plague which mixes with foreign diseases (that's what you get when you give heathrow a 5th terminal) to kill all remaining people
nurgle is very pleased

Not sure what I'll tackle next, I'm hoping to go back and play some classics that were never available to me. Like Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, Lufia, the original Final Fantasy and SMT, stuff like that. Breath of Fire, Secret of Mana, Terranigma... The SNES was truly an awe inspiring console.

>>26580237
They ask about everything, they want to know if they can trust you (ie you're loyal to your queen and country, won't betray it for religion or other personal beliefs) or if someone would be able to blackmail you. Family, friends, personal vices etc. it's all important.
And if they find you lie or hide stuff you're out permanently (and they will find out, just as you're told not to discuss your application the people they interview about you are told not to discuss it with you).

To be honest I can't see them intercepting your transmissions, especially given that they wouldn't have access to the stuff your ISP does. Although it's certainly possible.

If you're putting in the application now it's nothing to worry about. Get to the vetting stage first and then worry about what you've posted here.
>>
All this talk of porn has reminded me I need to finish what I was wanking too earlier.

You need to talk about how budget supermarkets just as Lidl are begining to take more and more market share from the traditional big supermarkets and you would like to be a part of that. You also need to talk about how efficient and well organised you find Lidl stores and employees to be when you enter them, and this is also something you would like to be a part of.

pro tip: Whenever you have to answer the question 'why do you want to work for us?' you just need to Google the company, see what they brag about themselves, then tell them you are all about whatever it is they brag about

Thanks this is actually helpful advice.

What kind of thing should I put for the whole 'describe a situation in which you provided excellent customer service?'.

I've only worked in bars and I don't really count serving poison as excellent customer service.
>>
>>26580647
Lymph nodes are deep, unlikely you're feeling them. Even if it is it's probably just mumps. I doubt that it's blood cancer. Probably not.

They like you to give really specific examples in questions like this.

I would say try to think of any sort of memorable time you did anything out of the ordinary for a customer while working at the bar then embellish it to make it seem like you went way out of your way.
>>
>>26580723

>>26580532
So can mine, my desk awkwardly faces out onto the office but nobody really gives a shit for some reason.

We work for a company with over a billion pound turnover and we deal with all its communications so there's not always loads to do but I don't think anybody really is arsed as long as we look busy and don't get fired.

It's quite comfy

Probably only needs to be one or two of us but therre's about 5
>>
>>26580764
Yeah, but I knew long before results day that I wasn't going to get the grades so I had time to prepare.

Line up which unis and courses you're going to phone in advance because if you wait until the list of available courses comes out it's already too late. Phone the departments ahead to se if they expect vacancies through clearing, maybe talk to the tutors if possible so they recognise your name.
>>
>>26580749

There was a time I helped this absolutely wasted guy home (he lived a couple hundred metres away) at the end of my shift at about 1a.m.. But I can't really put that can I because it implies it was my fault he got wasted (it wasn't)? That's the only stand out moment I can think of really.

I could replace 'drunk guy at 1 a.m.' with 'elderly guy at 1 p.m.' or something?

Trying to get my life together lads.

I'm putting some money into a Help to Buy ISA and some money into a separate savings account.

Paying into the work pensions scheme too where they match it or whatever.

Anything else I should be doing to get a good start?

I've sat in on many group interviews at asda. The key is listening to other people but a bit of willingness to take the lead. For example you may be given a group task with a big piece of paper to write on. Be the one to offer to write. Take control of the pice of paper when it's handed out. Then sit back and listen. Give other members of your group equal attention.

Depends what you want to do with your life. 18 - 20K is pretty much a house deposit in most of the uk outside the SE, so you could potentially buy a place and start paying your own mortgage rather than some bastard landlords.

Otherwise, set 6 month's worth of living expenses aside for emergencies and either invest the rest in a tracker fund or piss it away on whatever you're into.

What was your lads favourite hymn from Primary School? I always liked Lord of the Dance

I danced in the morning
When the world was begun,
And I danced in the moon
And the stars and the sun,
And I came down from heave
And I danced on the earth,
At Bethlehem I had my birth.

Dance, then,wherever you may be,
I am the Lord of the Dance, said he,
And I'll lead you all,
wherever you may be,
And I'll lead you all
in the Dance, said he.

I danced for the scribe
And the pharisee,
But they would not dance
And they wouldn't follow me.
I danced for the fishermen,
For James and John -
They came with me
And the Dance went on.

I danced on the Sabbath
And I cured the lame;
The holy people
Said it was a shame.
They whipped and they stripped
And they hung me on high,
And they left me there
On a Cross to die.

I danced on a Friday
When the sky turned black -
It's hard to dance
With the devil on your back.
They buried my body
And they thought I'd gone,
But I am the Dance,
And I still go on.

They cut me down
And I leapt up high;
I am the life
That'll never, never die;
I'll live in you
If you'll live in me -
I am the Lord
Of the Dance, said he.

For ages I believed Jesus would literally go around impromptu dancing at people to gain followers
