Don't draw hairs individually, draw them as forms, treat the like forms, add in little clumps and strands which give the illusion of overall texture and quality. This applies to pubic hairs, beards, fur, practically anything.
Literally look at pictures of 3D women with hairy vaginas, and you'll see the problem.

In a nutshell, you're making the pubic hair too bushy. Even among people with curly/bushy pubic hair, it doesn't seem to rise off the skin as much as it does in your drawings.

Not OP, but I tried improving it. I think part of the problem was that it didn't match the style of the rest of the image, since you drew the individual hair on the pubes but the head hair is separated into locks. There was also no shading on the pubic hair, which looked odd.

It's way thinner even at the thickest parts and there's a sort of gradient that goes with the hair thickness. Also good attempt at pointing the hair but it just looks flat out wrong, like a sea urchin on her vag.
If anything get rid of the hairs directly on the lips, thin out the remainder on the top, and angle it properly.
