How do people even manage to find enjoyment in things? I started a college course months ago because it was the only way of getting out of working the same shit 50 hour a week job i'd been working for the past 3 years.
I hoped maybe it'd be the start of something great, instead I just hold no interest in it whatsoever, I can't bring myself to do any of the assignments.
Yet I can't see myself going back to that other place without losing what tiny bit of sanity I have left and ramming the dump truck straight into the office taking us all out.

Yeah I'd say having the right housemates is pretty important, my corridor was the only one in our halls where all of us stuck together. I lived in Windsor, 25 on a corridor, the majority of us are still good friends after first year and see each other regularly. I knew none of the people I moved into halls with but they're some of my closest friends now and we've all lived together since the start. Me and 4 guys in Norris and a house of 5 girls and one guy a two minute walk away which is nice.
Compared to halls, you're obviously further off campus but it's not that much different. The main thing is making sure you pay all the bills, aside from that I'd say the nicest thing is being close to all the food shops and being able to buy and cook your own food and having a bit more privacy.

Just go on Google and lean some chords then choose a song like Jimi Hendrix - Wild Thing to let you put the chords in a song. You don't have to learn all the chords to start with just start with like A, C, D, E, G then practice a couple of songs playing the chords. Once you get more confident with chords and strumming and can happily learn a bunch of simple songs you want to play by looking at the chords I reccomend you move onto basic scales, then you will be able to strum and pick and should be able to learn mostly anything you want.
If you want to write songs in the future look into a bit of theory there's these things called 'modes' and they let you cheat at song writing. You don't need to worry about that yet though.
