Today I was returning my books to the campus bookstore and there was a guy with an Asian girl. The guy was skinny and not very tall, and he had triforce earings and a Hogwarts scarf. He was totally orbiting the Asian girl. It was hard to watch as he struggled to find things to talk about with this smug sense of superiority mixed with inferiority.

What is the point of this? It is obviously to countdown to Christmas, but aside from the snowflakes it has nothing to do with Christmas or the Holiday Season.

The person who owns this is always buying t shirts with star wars references on them that make no sense. It makes my eyes hurt.

Let me celebrate Christmas and at the same time let everyone know how. Nerdy. :^) I. :^) Am. :^)
>>
because it's Normie's way of trying to trendy and 'geeky'

How many times have you heard a girl saying "I really like nerdy guys!" and thought that she's a liar? She's not lying. She really does like nerdy guys.

But her definition of nerdy guys PRESUMES that they have the non-negotiable traits. The non- negotiable traits being fucking CHAD. She doesn't mean fat basement-dwelling neckbeards that lack any basic social skills.

She means a confident, charming, dominant, physically fit guy, who happens to be into whatever nerdy stuff she's into.

I can't stress this enough: it is the same as guys being attracted to a girl. When you say "I am attracted to brunettes", you are actually saying "I am attracted to brunettes given that they are already skinny girls with good bodies and a nice face."

Hey guys, I code. Let to have everyone know I code. It defines who I am as a person. I totally code.
>>
>>25088282

That is precisely what aggravates me about it. Personally, I don't like any of this stuff besides the original three star wars movies because I grew up watching them with my brother.

It is just obvious this people are buying these items to define who they are as people. And a lot of them have a haughty sense of superiority while they do it.

>>25088208

Wouldn't not cringing at this make me autistic?

Actually I'm totally crushing on this brunette at work. I'm 26 and she's maybe mid 50's? Late 40s at the youngest? She's a total qt tho, and it's definitely her hair that does it for me.
There another girl at work I like who's a fucking chubber but she's a brunette too so I think she's pretty.

One is mainstream and the other is autistic. Playing vidya games or having seen the Avengers may be considered geeky but what does it say about the person? It's the dude who never plays vidya games and never watches blockbuster who is a weird exception in 2016.

It's not readability. I felt literally bad seeing the redundancy of 'coffee' everywhere.

There are other premises that they're not a very good programmer, e.g. inconsistent space after the constructor and the conditional clause -- they haven't thought that the latter might be considered a function, if(condition, then). But that's less important.

And, in fact, I just realized that it should have been numeric, if(!c.content) c.content = c.capacity.

In fact, no, capacity could be just represented by a large integer, binarily:

0000000000000000 = empty cup
0000000000001111 = some left
1111111111111111 = full

And refill could be just bit flipping.

I have to plead guilty on this one though, I tattooed a fork bomb on my arm. Yes I did it in for everybody to see. Still, while I don't have but one friend who actively uses linux, I am the most knowledgeable person I know in my field. I once attended a hackerspace but it was out of my city.
anyway yes I do kind of define myself in terms of what I do because else my life would be pretty much void. I'd have nothing to live for, so I try to inmerse myself as much as I can in the things I love. I'm not, though, going out and telling everybody how 1227 I am. If I did I'd probably have a job tho

I didn't read that one. I began reading them at the end of the 80's, so after the Empire fell and the Republic tried to restore order. It was mostly about Luke going from one planet to another, but the plot was good overall and it was funny to see some of their old friends becoming hostile now that they didn't have a common enemy to fight.

There's a difference between discussing anime and going full weeb.
Weeb means you're gonna start spouting BARRAGE NO JUTSU and japanese phrases while acting it out. Discussing it is just like "have you read Berserk? Miura is a great artists and captures such a dark fantasy so well, too bad the cunt has written a new chapter for years now."

Problem is if people keep being ashamed of liking comics, MtG, anime and video games, someone else is going to be "proud" of it and express their likes for it. Because you didn't, they set the example for what the fanbase should act like, when in actuality the real fanbase just doesn't speak up.

Good point generally, but you can explain it that the Coffee class refers to an instance of picking up the cup, whose constructor connects every time to a static/singleton/whatever resource of contents of the cup (the actual fluid within), which persists between picking it up (= which persists between reinitializations of Coffee coffee).
