Well there's the Chinese zerg hivemind drones who keep to themselves, but are generally quite discourteous and inconsiderate. It's definitely the money. Also, Chinese interests have so thoroughly infiltrated the university that I wouldn't be surprised if we begin to see high profile cases of Chinese national nepotism with native Canadians claiming to be discriminated against. It's already at the point where the primary factor in how well you do in some courses is how well the professor speaks English.

It's my understanding that this is something that has been with me my whole life, but that I only slowly began to realize during my teens. As a child, I would attempt to delude myself into believing that I loved my family, but the truth is that I don't have any sort of emotional connection with a single person. Everything feels like it's happening so far away in a fictional world. I doubt that getting a job will change anything, but I don't feel bad or anything. It just makes getting a job slightly inconvenient.

It's because there are so damned many of them and their ethnocentrism is strong enough that they can stay in their ethnic enclaves, speaking their own languages and interacting with only one another, never having to integrate into the predominant culture.
Make no mistake, they know exactly what they're doing.
