Got rekt on my first math midterm and that killed my vibe.
However I doubled my score only my second midterm and got well above the average. Studying fucking works, who would've known.
Also I got the best Lower division chem professor in the fucking school, she bought 45 pizzas for a review session and I've aced both her midterms so far.
All that's left is finals, and my morale is very high at the moment.

Why are international students even allowed to take lower division math classes? All these fuckers do is set the curve super high for those of us who didn't have as great of a mathematics upbringing as them.
Seriously, it pisses me off. My HS only had one calc class and it was my teacher's first year teaching calc. I'm struggling but pulling through in calc 1.
Meanwhile these international pieces of shit took math classes up to linear algebra in HS, so this material is baby-level to them. It's not fair. It's so not fucking fair. Then they act all high and mighty because they were taught more math than us. I hate them so much

-Write your thesis/opening first.
-Write a summary/placeholder for each paragraph
-Turn those summaries/placeholders into actual paragraphs
-BS/Pad the paper if you're short.
-Print a hard copy, for some reason that makes it easier to catch mistakes

Super excited about next year's conference season. My regional MLA is pretty much happening right next door to me early next year.
There's also an East meets West one nearby for a regional conference that I'm really crossing my fingers to get into. It'll be a good in for a future course I was hoping to teach as well (that I conveniently already have research done for).
