You can't change mental illnesses, it's not like getting a makeover. They are always there, you can pretend they don't exist, and lock them deep down and repress them but they will always be there and resurface in times of strife and crisis. And in those times you need someone who understands what you are doing, how you are acting, empathetic towards these things. No, but to me, it is something I'm comfortable with and I've grown to enjoy in some sick sadistic way, just like depression. Maybe it's because of my past that I can handle the roller coaster ride that is this struggle, but I'm okay with the highs and lows. I can stick it out through anything as long as I feel loved. She told me she liked me back, and that was the start of our relationship, I guess. Things went pretty smoothly. First kiss, so on and so forth. Eventually tensions escalated between her and my friends, and the height of the conflict was when we all went to chinatown, my friends were pretty much fed up with her, and at the end we went into a secluded alleyway and made out for like 5 minutes. After this, I realized I simply wasn't attracted to her anymore, so I...broke up with her, I guess. I didn't hear from her again until about a month later, when I received a text saying ";do you still have feelings for me";?
