Grim is back with his wasteland of goodies. Be prepared for a return to the nuclear dark ages from the wild adventures of three wasteland clans trying to make their way in a world that's turned back to its feral roots and taken a hell storm of radiation along with it.

Last time we saw our clans it was just donning on the sixth year of their troubled survival and here's how the lot of them turned out.

The Abbey Dwellers:
After a few failed attempts at searching for lost clans out in the wastes proved disastrous as they stumbled upon a once settlement raided clear of all its inhabitants save for one dead body. The pet Store that the raided clan had lived out of burned a bright blaze and showed just how savage the outside world was outside their abbey walls, which they then hurried in building to stave off any unwanted conflict from roving savages.

It was declared that this was a new era where god was needed more than ever, and in this they would name the year 0 AR, After Resurrection. A new testament has been put into writing and is documenting the acts against mutants and savages with each passing day.

The Skull hunters:
It took a few years scouting out every gas station they could but the dream of rolling on road finally came true in the near fourth or fifth year of survival. Soon after taking a liking to the cars themselves, they were convinced that they must have spirits, and that they must be maintained by the drivers that operate them. They're determined to keep these cars in an ever present state of function, for The Driver Class in the clan has started in a near cult-like fashion over what's best for the motor oriented lifestyle.

The Starlight Clan:
Times have been good so long as you're strong it seems, for the machete wielding masses of Starlighters as made their presence known by raiding out a local tribe and taking its populous as slaves for their mutated corn fields, leaving the pet store burning all the while. It's been a few hard years in the trailer park for the new servants, half of the new arrivals starving in the first year, and one attempted escape before being dragged back by a Starlighter guard. There have been ever growing concerns on the rights of slaves to participate in the Starlight Religion, or rather slaves are even worthy to join them in the stars after death.

Rules
-Every turn OP will ask for the actions of your civ, you can preform two tasks, those of which can either be a cultural development, an action to be preformed by your people, or a new technological breakthrough. You cannot choose the same option twice in the same turn.

-Every turn is an in-game year.

There was a breakthrough in researching food growing and the effects of cultivating the sacred fruits. The likes of fertilizers and the mulch was formed when Leon was set to practicing through the year at growing a small fruit plant in his dorm, finding that the blood of a mutated fish was causing fatter yields, but caused little to no clicks from any means of demon searching.

Surely The Rot God was offering mercy upon the likes of The Abbey Dwellers early on in the year. A set of scouts were headed free of the sands to cross their way into the wastes beyond, but came upon a shocking discovery. They had set up camp within an old store that seemed to at one time been but a small roadside family store with little more to offer but a roof over the faithful's heads and not much of one at that. While one of the young initiates was looking through the likes of the store's back room while other scouts scoured the magazines that had remained half water logged on the store's floor for valuable information, he was stopped at the form of a lock box rusted shut with time.

Soon the lot of them had brought the box outside where one scout was settled to beating the rusted lock with a rock, and by an act of the lord it was just corroded enough to break free and be pried open. Inside was something that had a mix of panic and excitement running through the party. It was a preserved revolver, still containing a box of ammunition. One scout had wrapped the box in a fabric and doused it in holy water to bide it a safe journey as the lot of scouts managed to practically run back to The Abbey with their prize.

The godsend was presented to The Abbot in the middle of the night, the glint of the gun showing in the glow of candlelight. Surely such things now were near extinct, and more so priceless beyond most wastelander's dreams.

It was a rather exciting time for The Skull Hunters as they went about building the bridge. They had settled on attempting to fashion it out of what they had off hand, so in many cases that was the figures of cars that had no hope of function, or extra car bodies that had been stripped of parts to such a degree they were but shells of dead automobiles. It was only after they had managed to trust standing on their new walkway that they were confident enough to cross.

As a scavenger party first came into the city they were immediately surprised by a mutant that had attempted to run as they sighted the hunters, but they were quickly shot down by the well put shot of a bolt tosser among the ranks of scavengers. The Skuller that shot him wasn't even done scratching a notch onto their bow as another scavenger started to shout about something in the distance. As they came closer it was swift to see that it was some form of factory that decorated the outskirts of town, and as they went inside it was found that the whole place was more of a refinery than anything else. A stockpile of iron had been located throughout the place and there were a few moments of elation from the few Drivers that had accompanied them, thoughts of reinforcing cars voiced incessantly.

A little later into their explorations they found the likes of a building that at first seemed as if there were a car upon its top, ever perfectly preserved and fine, but to the disappointment of the two drivers that had managed to scale the building it was found to be just a decorative shell put on top of an auto shop. Regardless, there were tools to be had within, and more importantly to some of The Drivers, untouched banks of enamel and paint that lay scattered about a shelf, not apparently high class lootables to most other wastelanders.

The Starlighters didn't leave home much this year, as they were all too busy restructuring their slave class and trying to get distilleries up and running. They seemed to succeed, though the only thing they can seem to make is moonshine, and often it has a greenish tint to it, but it has the capability to get anyone drunk just as well as the regular stuff, maybe even quicker since the stuff is pretty strong as is.

One trailer had to be devoted to the alcohol brewing, as it became apparent that some of the slaves were trying to draw out retaliation against their masters. Often enough they would end out attempting to break tools and once even managed to near slam a rake into the stills as an act of spite, but was stopped by one of the warriors and promptly pressed back out into the fields. The Brew Masters seem to guard their stills day in and day out on separate shifts to protect what some say is one of the best things to happen to the clan. Since the new introduction of alcohol the clanners have started to resupply their Molotov supplies. They expect to have them all replenished by the beginning of the next year at this rate.

Culture action: Create Clan Hierarchy


1. Caesar - leader of the Clan. His orders are law. Immediately below Caesar is a legate.
2. Legate - field marshal, ensuring that Caesar's orders are followed faithfully. The position of legate is only given to individuals who demonstrate unshakable loyalty, leadership skills, and unrestrained ferocity.
3. Centurion- serve as field commanders during major operations. They are often appointed to their position through years of dedicated service and their martial prowess reflects the rigors they have endured.
4. Veteran legionary, are not only the best equipped amongst the standard legionaries, they are also the most experienced as well. They are typically held in reserve until the recruit and the prime legionaries are defeated. They are responsible for the training of future legionaries.
5. Prime legionary are better equipped and trained than recruits.
6. Recruits - the lowest rank, they are freshly trained legionaries who are given only basic equipment.
Other positions:
Explorer legionary - trained in the arts of reconnaissance.
Blacksmith - The blacksmiths are responsible for the maintenance of our weapons and armor.
Brew Masters

The bottom of the hierarchy
1. Slaves
2. Captures

Action: Use our new tools to build walls, around houses and farm with source of water.
Make a 3 zones in city.

Closer to middle of city = higher in hierachy.
In the middle section of city there will be only big house of Caesar and smaller ones of Legate, Centurion, and house of their guards.

well due to old knowledge from other stuff we know gunpowder is made from charcoal and sulfur, so i guess we take charcoal and just mix it with a bunch of rocks until we figure out how it works? Then we melt down scrap 4 bullets?
