Star Wars spam is completely unmoderated on /tv/. We clearly need /sw/, mods have given up or are using /tv/ as their personal /sw/

Examples, all from the first 10 threads in the catalog
220 replies and going strong. >>>64219093

You want everyone to post in their own little sub-board, don't you?
>>
>>397204
Is this how you downvote threads?

It's /co/

This must be your first time browsing /tv/ after a huge movie was released.

Don't worry, we were all newfags at one point.

Sounds like its your first too considering it dies down after a few days

>doesn't violate rules
>what is global rule 10

I know, you heard on r/4chan that there were no rules here so you went and created fifteen Star Wars threads, but at least fucking pretend to check first you reddit faggot.
>>
Honestly, we complain about the mods, but what about the actual people posting these threads?
/tv/ must have the most retarded and entitled userbase on this site. It's not hard to check the catalog and post in an old thread. There's no need to create another SW-thread when there are so many already.
>>
>>397276
but these aren't usual /tv/ posters, anon
if you check the board's traffic you can see that there was a huge influx of crossposters during the period before and after the release of the movie. they won't check the catalog because they don't care: it's not their homeboard/website anyway.
imo, we should at least try to confine sw discussion to one or multiple general threads so it doesn't bloat the catalog. this is actually necessary and since it doesn't look like it's just another movie event like >>397246 argued: Star Wars is probably the biggest franchise of all time and there are several movies scheduled to be released during the next years. the amount of discussion probably won't subdue to an unnoticeable level by itself like happened to Avatar threads and etc.

The problem is, you have a mod who is encouraging all of this posting and does nothing about it. That mod being swaglord, aka the faggot running [s4s].

Its a known fact the mods are trying to get /tv/ nuked, and swaglord thinks the Star Wars movie is the perfect way to make that happen

He's saying it's not spam retard.
