I made a thread months ago on /tv/ asking about Bryce Dallas Howard and the thread was deleted and I was banned within 3 minutes while there were multiple porn threads up with dozens of posts. I just accepted it and left.

First of all, threads about upcoming or hypothetical movies are /tv/, if there's no crossboarding agenda (for example posting actress threads when you want to use them to perv over a woman, ie. an /s/ agenda).
Those threads are all talking about actors and directors more than they're talking about the content of the games, so yes, I'm afraid they're /tv/.
Secondly, sperging out over them in the threads themselves and all over the board like you guys have been doing only encourages trolls to make more threads and post in them to rile your autism and see you get mad, so great job policing /tv/ you retards. Is this your first fucking day?

/v/ crossposting is the absolute least of /tv/'s problems. It would probably improve /tv/'s quality if more /v/irgins posted on /tv/ because /v/ has less shitposting and stays on topic more than /tv/ nowadays.

I think it's more likely to be people who have a casual interest in anime. Enough to want reccomendations, but not enough to bother lurking /a/. A lot of them seem like they are made by the kind of person who would be interested in something like Texhnolyze or Akira but wouldn't want to wade through "moeshit". A few are probably made by regular /a/ posters, but I have no clue why they bother considering they already browse /a/ and could start a thread for anyone of those shows over there. Regardless, they're off topic threads and should be deleted.
/v/ post stealth threads occasionally with "who would you cast in the movie adaptation of x" which inevitably go into video game discussion.
I do think that it's jumping the gun to solely blame /v/ for anime posting. I seems more likely to me that it would be a /tv/ user who happens to have a passing interest in anime and would rather discuss it on /tv/ than /a/ since they don't care enough about anime to bother lurking /a/. After all animation is a very simmilar medium to film, so it's not unlikely that someone with an interest in film would branch out. People will blame /v/ because /v/ is an easy scapegoat and have their own off topic anime threads.
Of course it's also possible that someone just wants to spam anime to have a giggle.
