>Liechtenstein, which is in the European Economic Area, but not in the EU, was granted special status 20 years ago under Protocol 15 in the EEA agreement that let it limit the number of new residents for a period of four years by subjecting them to “prior authorisation entry, residence and employment”. Restrictions are still in force today, and while Brussels has tried to relax the restrictions, a paper sent from the EC to EU leaders and the European Parliament in 2015 highlighted the “vital interest of Liechtenstein to maintain its own national identity”.

Reminder: in 2014 Scotland voted overwhelmingly for Unionism. 38% voted Leave this time around. These are the true Scotsmen. The others are pic releated. Rhebel scum. Take out the fenians and Scotland voted Leave in the same proportion as England and Wales, or even greater. Same with NI where the based DUP was the only major party in Westminster to campaign for Leave. It's the Irish who give the Scots and NI a bad name, just as pakis do in the rUK. Circumstantially, it makes a lot of sense. An article I read confirmed the media campaign to oust him is coming from Alistair Campbell and other associates of Tony Blair. The resistance to Corbyn is firmly from Tony Blair's supporters in the party. Something is strengthening Corbyn's resolve to stay as the leader of the people, and he was strongly against the Iraq war and he was vocal about wrongdoing around it.

I have a new movement for all countries in the EU.

Eurexit

The fact that Brexit won proves how racist and xenophobic this world is. Therefore I propose we leave it. Join me in mass suicide to leave this shit planet once and for all.

Can't wait for some snarky shit to post something about racists leavers being scared of immigration on kikebook again. Immigration was obviously a factor, but I wanted to see if there was any truth to it being the driving force behind leave. Turns out it influenced a third of leavers but sovereignty was an issue for almost half of us.

Remainers, on the other hand, voted remain because they were scared. Top fucking kek.

>Leavers: voted on principle regardless of the possible negative consequences
>Remainers: literally cowards
>>
>>79228299
I'll watch that, thank you.

I do agree though that it was always going to become that, but what act or legislation was primarily to blame for what switched it from just being what we signed up for, to becoming what it is now? Or does this documentary cover that?
>>
>>79228543
It covers it in its entirety, you'll like how it deals with each treaty step by step and how each Prime Minister gave a little bit (or a lot) of our independence away in their different actions, I think

Not a history per se, but a rather detailed look at the EU, some of its policies and affects throughout recent history: 'Myth and Paradox of the Single Market' (2016) by Michael Burrage --
http://www.civitas.org.uk/publications/myth-and-paradox-of-the-single-market/
By the same author, 'Where's the Insider Advantage?' (2014) --

Also worth looking into is Professor Patrick Minford. He's an economics professor at Cardiff, former advisor to the Treasury, and attended the Cost & Benefits of the EU Select Committee (not that anyone listened to him - there's a YouTube video).

MI5 provides surveillance of politician's homes, and "street watchers" are always around when they go out in public.

It is never talked about or acknowledged, and their presence is mostly invisible.

Sometimes you will spot them in cars parked at the roadside, on early morning media footage of politicians going to work though, usually a couple of casually dressed people sitting quietly in their car, one will be looking at something, while the other looks on.

Tru story.

Can someone explain this statement to me?

"European Union leaders have warned that the UK must honour the principle of free movement of people if it wants to retain access to the single market after it leaves the bloc. "

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36659900

For years I've been saying the EU has a suspiciously unnatural interest in borders for being a simple "central bank" and many of the Brits on /int/ said I was full of it.

And yet years later here we are, and the EU seems to be clinging to the border issue for dear fucking life.

Very odd. For a "bank".

And it has worked, compare Spain before war, under Franco and After war. Also, Germany from 1933-1939 and Italy from 1922 to 1939.

The pillars of the EU are the "four freedoms."

Free movment of people, goods, services and labour.

Before Maastricht it was "free movement of labour" which meant you only had a right to move between nations for work and had to have this work prepared for when you arrived. You couldn't just go to a new country for the sake of it. Then they introduced "European Citizenship" which means you were entitled to the same benefits as native citizens of the member states. This really inflated the immigration numbers for the wealthier states like the UK and Germany.

The reason they're obsessed with it is because they want to create a superstate. They want Europe to be one mixed country, not a collection of independent states.

no

>>79239115
Sorry it's free movement of people goods, services and capital. Movement of labour became movement of people.

D-doesn't..... doesn't that seem like an insane statement to anyone? I mean, doesn't it seem a little surreal to be in a time when a 'bank' would put such emphasis on, of all things "immigrants".

I just don't see how this doesn't seem bizarre to Europeans.

I am trying to imagine the US Federal Reserve telling Canada that we wont buy their oil unless they take more Guatemalans. I'm just not getting how this makes sense even superficially, that every voter in Europe doesn't tell these loonies to pack up and fuck off with their crazy nation-shaping nonsense.

The people cannot possibly still be under the illusion that the EU is good for Europe. It seems perfectly clear to me that the EU was a financial vehicle to corrupt the continent to weaken the people, not serve them. It seems that the EU has become a blatant enemy of the people. I dont know how else to see it.

I would've thought it would imply actual Europeans, not people who have been residents for all of 18 months or whatever.

It just seems to me that its another example of the same thing here.

In our two party system, a party that has failed demonstrably cannot hope to stay in power and favor among it citizens based on its record.

So, using the force and authority of law, they can then spend the citizens money to import new people.

When the citizens protest, the party will then point to the actual citizens and call them xenophobic, so the foreigners perceive the members of the other party as hateful enemies, and then cling to the failed party inviting them in and giving them free stuff.

They are literally importing and growing voters like they are using an invasive predator species to exterminate a pest. In our case, the pest is the American people, and the government clearly wants us to die out so we cant oppose the party and replace us.

> They are literally importing and growing voters like they are using an invasive predator species

Our "refugee crisis" in Europe is worse. They're letting in third worlders by the millions every year now, and in a few years they'll all get European passports with the right to move anywhere they please. There's already no border control within the EU. Once you get into Greece you can make it all the way to France without a single border check.

The EU human rights rules make it so that you can't deport people with no identifiable citizenship. So they burn their documents/passports and come to Europe. Can't send them anywhere so they have to stick around and wait to become Europeans.

This seems so much more chaotic. I dont know about Texas, but I can recall other states that were stressed during our expansion, to say nothing of the end of the civil war.

This seems so fast, desperate and chaotic though. Its as if the EU isn't even trying to hide what their goals are anymore. They aren't very good con men if this is how they react in a panic.

I just dont see it. People over here have been saying the EU isn't going to last, and they have been saying it a lot more lately.

Its not the break up that concerns me; there are good leaders around and they had perfectly good trade agreements before.

What worries me is the fallout and clean up. The clean up from this fucking mess is going to take a half century at the fastest.
