Labour are already the 3rd party in Scotland. Let's see how long it takes before they become the 3rd party overall, competing with Tim "excuse me, who the fuck are you again" Farron for scraps from the UKIP/BoJo table.

This is like a bad fucking dream, the government needs to invoke article 50 RIGHT FUCKING NOW, NO GOING BACK.

>Shes a lawyer so surely she wouldn't make this claim if it was untrue.
You don't know much about the legal system or lawyers in general, do you? Making up shit about the constitution isn't a crime.

Also there's not going to be any more devolution. She tried to go crying to the EU and the EU told her to get lost.

This is just her attempt to push that off the front pages, to get her base to believe that she can get independence before we leave the EU.

She could try to veto it, but IIRC the veto literally doesn't work that way. It was designed to allow devolved regions to join the EU (if they would have them, which they won't) in the event of an independent Britain, not to stop Britain from leaving as a whole.

Besides, we can leave without invoking Article 50. It would be a disaster, but it's more likely than us being held hostage by some smacked-up jock cucks who are desperate for their snackbar cum rations.

>>78786226
They can't, but that's what they're hoping for. They're desperately trying to get independence before we leave. It's their only hope of EU membership.

The UK is a member of the EU, not Scotland.
If the UK leaves before Scotland declares independence, they would have to reapply for membership as an external member. They fail to meet several of the criteria, and Spain/Belgium would veto them anyway. That would guarantee that an independence referendum would fail, so the SNP would fucked twice (no EU and no independence).

She's desperately hoping (despite being told to fuck off by the EU) that the EU will allow them to join as an independent state while the rest of the UK (minus Scotland) is still in the EU. That's her last hope.

Tbqh, the Scots have been played brilliantly here. No independence and no EU. They realise this, and that's why you're seeing so much vitriol and butthurt online.

Labour party should split into at least three parties

Hopefully the Tory party does this too.

Then we'll have a country full of various left-wing, right-wing and centrist parties. The two party system would effectively be dead.

Parties would be too small to run governments from now on, so we would have hundreds of coalitions from mixes of several parties, often mixes of right and right or right and centre or left and left or left and centre or centre and centre or even left and right coalitions.

We'd scrap First Past the Post and have some form of Alternative Vote.

I knew he was supporting remain against his instincts (which is funny because he was elected as leader on a mandate of always speaking his mind).

But he went out of his way to actively sabotage the campaign the absolute mad man.

What is Corbyn's stance on immigration then if he was BREXIT?

Did people expect him to remain?
>>
>>78787145
He should have relinquished his leadership of Labour, defected to leave campaign, and given it a landslide victory tbhonest.
>>
>>78787249
Nobody wants him as PM. We want him to lead the Labour Party.

She doesn't. She has been told to get in the back of the line by EU officials multiple times already. Another thing to keep in mind is that the EU wants to preserve good relations with the UK. They wouldn't side with a tiny country that would be a warden case, not a net payer for short-term satisfaction. My guess is, there's a lot of pressure on Sturgeon to resign actually.

Given how Labour is tearing itself apart, can we expect anything like this within the Tories?

The torries in charge of renegotiation stratergy look to be leaning towards a worse of both worlds EEA deal, showing deep down they didn't really give a fuck about the EU in the first place.

Are nige is going nowhere, I'd say more than half of those who voted out will riot of they go with that option.

I revealed my power level after the referendum, me and some good friends got into a pretty heated debate which ended up in general bullshittery and name calling.
Messaged them a few hours after it explaining that I don't wanna lose good friends over politics and that we should agree to disagree and stay cool.

We've all agreed to get bladdered tonight so I think we're all chilled. Some actually replied saying that I brought up some good points and was doing a good job in nearly convincing them...
