I believe the Holocaust happened in some form. It's a fact that Jewish citizens were rounded up and deported to prison camps. It's also a fact that there were plenty of mass shootings of civilians that occurred in Eastern Europe as the Nazis conquered territory. My problem is that almost every single fucking account from survivors has historical and logistical inaccuracies in them and they vary wildly from each other.
For example, the guy who wrote "Night" describes a giant pit of fire that Jews were being thrown into as they arrived which he and his father barely avoided being thrown into. I've literally never read about this anywhere else.
