I do prefer it over alcohol. For a fraction of the price of getting drunk I can eat some tasty edibles and feel good as fuck but be more functional than a drunk. I just wont smoke the stuff, because thats when it smells like shit.

After a long of 40 hours of being a productive member of society I like to go home and get stoned for a couple hours. I eat better, feel better, and am much more agreeable with during the week. I do spend more on groceries, though.

Our legal system isn't ready to handle the issues. How are the courts going to distinguish between someone who smoked 4 joints 24 hours ago and someone who took a hit off a joint 45 minutes ago? My understanding is there isn't really a way to easily tell. Things like unemployement insurance, liablity insurance, and workers comp do not cover dismissal/accidents/injuries that happen when a person is under the influence of drugs, and without the ability to ACCURATELY tell if someone was "inhibited" at the time of the accident objectively, then supporting legalization is a moronic thing to do.
