I went vegan for a month, since I made a bet with my girlfriend.

To be honest, some of the simulated meat products are not bad (burgers, hotdogs, etc.). There's also a surprising amount of vegan/vegetarian cuisine, especially coming from Asia.

However, I have never felt lower energy in my life. And yes, I was getting my protein and enough calories, etc.. Being vegan literally makes you dumber. I had like a "brain fog" and a lot of trouble getting up in the morning, and making it through the day.

I don't eat meat unless some one one serves it to me or if i find one of those ''50% of eat soon short date'' at the store. The meat that is actually of good quality and good for you is quite expensive and that meat is not good to eat so much of. I just avoided carbs as much as possible and made a bit of an effort to eat smaller meals. You can always try it as an experiment for a week or two to see how it goes. All you have to do is just by vegan groceries one week and not buy non-vegan food or eat it for the week. You are still buying 70-80% of the same stuff anyway its not a huge shift. If you do it read about good sources of nutrition while vegan first though so you don't do it wrong and feel bad and conclude veganism is bad.

Your remaining points were that nuts/seeds are expensive and that beans can cause bloating but neither of these are issues if you don't eat too much of one thing and eat balanced meals consisting of 3 or 4 different vegan high-protein sources.

If you get reguarly eat meals such as beans and rice with cooked spinach and avacado there is a ton of protein in that especially if you add flax or chia seed to it. The expensive "special foods" like nuts/seeds/superfoods etc are not meant to be the primary source of protein but should be used moderately to augment the protein you get from cheap foods like rice/beans/other legumes/spinach/kale/broccoli/avacados etc. If you do that you easily get tons of protein and its not more expensive that eating a regular diet because you save a lot from not buying eggs/milk/meat.

This is why the best thing you can do for your health is to eat as low on the food chain as possible, because that's where you'll find the least contamination.

If we hadn't fucked the planet so hard it would be a different story - fish would probably be incredibly healthy if the oceans weren't so full of toxins. But they are, and anyone with a brain will adjust their diet to compensate.

Eating less meat and more plants is certainly healthier but meat causes inflammation regardless of how much you eat and the science has shown people who are vegans and vegetarians has lower chances of developing most of the major diseases.

I believe you mean "insight" and not "foresight" which means predicting the future. I have also known many liberal vegans and vegetarians but in my experience its pretty unusual for them to try to correct everyone around them and to convince others to adopt their diet.

Animals products are full of bacterial toxins that enter your blood steam shortly after a meal and fuck your shit up. At some point during their preparation and processing, animal foods contain a sufficient microbial load to release various endotoxins. Cooking kills the bacteria but it doesn't destroy the toxins the bacteria releases. Long term, chronic inflammation has been proven to harm your joints, you gut heath, increase your risk of heart disease and various cancers, and so on.
