As someone who voted for Cruz for the Senate and like him as an alternative to Trump, if he gets the nomination by having less delegates going into convention, I will not only not vote for him in the general election, but I will downvote every Republican in the election and will continue to do so until the national Republican Party is replaced with competent people who don't shoot themselves in the foot.
Believe me, I am not the only one I know who feels this way. My family and coworkers are Cruz supporters (voted for him in the primaries) and they have all said the same thing. The BLM support in Chicago really got to them and the North Dakota delegate interview really got to them.
