I've been meditating daily for years now and I'm an atheist. Even religions that promote meditation often do it without implying anything supernatural about it. As you said, it has many benefits, but it's mostly a way of improving self-control, and there's nothing religious about that. Hollywood likes to push that "clear your mind" crap, but it's actually the exact opposite - the whole point is to concentrate on something and hold that focus. The only "danger" to it that I've heard of would be that kundalini awakening crap which I obviously don't believe in.

50-70 years ago, Asians were some of the most hated people in America. Between WW2, Korea, and Vietnam, we collectively viewed them as the enemy.
Now, in 2016, they've managed to not only succeed but excel, even past white people. As a whole, they make more money than whites in THEIR OWN COUNTRY.
Almost all major racism against Asians is now gone. I'm not claiming Asians never experience racism, but most of it is minor. I don't think hardly anyone in America outright hates Asians or calls them gooks anymore.
People might crack jokes or mention stereotypes like them being bad drivers, but as a whole Asians seem to have it pretty good.
How have they managed this? They were put in fucking internment camps.

Personally, I think it is better if Rubio does not drop out because the polling shows Trump gets the nomination eventually, and those polls are based on a race where Rubio is still a candidate.
