I agree that Western civilisation is the best the world has yet seen, but I don't entirely buy into the argument that it's just because whites are genetically superior, although a case can be made for that in regards to certain traits and characteristics.
To begin with, civilisation began in the Near East, in Sumeria (modern-day Iraq). From there, it spread on to the rest of the world. The Assyrians, Babylonians, Egyptians, Persians and other ancient peoples had civilisations that far surpassed anything Europe was doing at the time.
The Greeks probably made the most significant contribution to the Western world in the sense that they started a catalyst for mainland Europe to start developing civilisation. But it's important to recognise the fact that a lot of the knowledge the Greeks had was imported from previous civilisations.
Even the Muslims had their own golden age where knowledge and information was flourishing. Lots of ancient Greek knowledge was translated to Syriac by Assyrians living in the Islamic Empire, and later on into Arabic. This knowledge would have been lost had the Arabs not passed it on to mainland Europe through Spain, and an argument could be made that the Renaissance wouldn't have taken place if this were the case. Without the Renaissance you wouldn't have the bridge to transition from the middle ages into the modern age. Without that you wouldn't have the industrial revolution, and so on.
So yeah, not everything is as black and white as people like to look at things. Had the circumstances been just a little bit different we might not have had the world we have today.
