Such simplicity, such masterful design and reliability.

No wonder the GS500 remained basically unchanged for 27 years. They knew they designed a great basic bike to fulfill the needs of the everyday man.

RoyalJordanian -- not really a motovlogger in the traditional sense but he puts out good content.

billmaa -- his glory days as a motovlogger are way behind him but the BWOM series that he did with his friend over the course of many years is still epic. BWOM = By Way Of Motorcycle, he and his friend rode all 50 states of the US on motorcycles over many separate trips taking almost a decade to complete.

serpentza
laowhy86
Churchill Customs

serpentza and laowhy86 are western vloggers who have been living in China for a number of years. They got together a while back and created the Churchill Customs channel due to both of them having a similar western background and a love of working on and riding motorcycles. Their individual channels are mostly regular vlogs (except for a few pretty epic solo motorcycle trips by serpentza) but the Churchill Customs channel that they've put together is mostly motovlogs of them riding around in China and talking about their experiences there and their perceived differences between living in China vs living in the west. They also just finished filming a moto-travelling documentary for an English language tv station there in China where they took a motorcycle trip through much of Southern China that I'm really looking forward to.

I used to watch Jakethegardensnake and Chaseontwowheels and some others but I just got tired of them.

I still can't get my head around the fact that you couldn't keep it together until your Probezeit was vorbei, especially considering your lack of monies.
Seriously what the fuck.
At least when I crashed my bike I had (barely) enough money to get going again.
You brought this on yourself m8.

It was in an 80 zone on the Autobahn, I was going 94 factoring in tolerances (so speedo was showing 100).
Maybe you should get yourself a brain bot and install Common Sense CurrentYear Edition (tm), it's a neat little program giving you a rough idea where you shouldn't be speeding.
If you get blitzed like 3 times in such a short amount of time you were either
> driving like an asshole
> driving faster than you should have in an area that was very likely to have speed traps
> driving 24/7 under intense time pressure
Given that you even got points, and the fact that you're a neet with no obligations, I'd say options 1 and 2 are likely.

TL;DR
Don't be a fuckhead -> don't lose license.

I'm just not a fuckhead who goes way too fast on roads he doesn't know and hasn't even checked for speed cameras.
Well actually I do exactly that, but only on roads whose layout and the area in which they are make it improbable to get blitzed.

I mean, I can understand getting unlucky and getting caught doing 35 over once. But three times in such a short amount of time? And not learning from your mistakes and still speeding like a demon when you don't even have money... whew lad.

>>15325180
> have fun
Go fast on roads that I've checked for speed traps, go fast on roads that are very unlikely to have them (i.e. shitty backroads close to main roads that often have speed traps).
If you get ticketed for that amount, and get infractions, AND don't have money AND are in danger of losing your license, you should have the self-control to NOT FUCKING SPEED FOR A FEW MONTHS JESUS CHRIST.
You could also go as fast as you want on a track; in the long run that might be cheaper and less of a hassle than getting ticketed and losing your license several times a year.
And I speed 24/7, technically. 20 over is pretty safe though; you can often spot blitzers and brake before they activate, they sometimes don't even activate at that speed especially when there are cars nearby, and you don't have to pay a fortune if you do get caught by one. Also don't speed so much in a car as front-only blitzers won't get you on a bike, but in a car they will.

EFI isn't a new technology. Carbs, however, are an increasingly obsolete technology. Stop thinking EFI has the reliability of carbs.

Also, all those things can be easily diagnosed by an OBDII scanner, unlike carbs. That's when they do fail (they almost never do).

No problems yet, though the brakes squeaking a little is concerning.

But holy shit, these overpants fucking suck. They're big and baggy and soak my jeans with sweat.

I'm always going to be ATGATT because I know first hand what crashing feels like, but wearing gear in the Texas summer fucking sucks.

The mesh jacket isn't terrible, but I really hate these pants.
>>
>>15325972

These do have mesh panels. Maybe I'm not opening the right vents, but still. They feel like the snow pants I had when I was a kid in Washington.

Ah well that sucks. I've got a set of textile motorcycle pants (regular armored riding pants, not overpants) that have huge mesh panels and allow plenty of airflow during the summer here in TX but there's no way I'd be able to fit them over a pair of jeans.
