In my opinion riding good means deliberate, measured and thought out practice toward a defined riding goal.
In my opinion a good rider is one who practices even stuff he doesn't like in order to build himself into a more well rounded rider, somebody who thinks just riding around having a good time isn't enough and wants to constantly improve their skills and be the best they can possibly be at the type of riding they like to do.
Trials riders don't take corners very fast, we know they're great riders, stunt riders aren't often going very fast, we know they're great riders, motogymkhana guys don't get out of 1st gear, they're fantastic riders.
