In that form, yeah. Base model Toranas used to be really popular, they had a pretty gutless I6 with a reverse flow head and made three tenths of fuck all power. The good ones came with a Holden 253 V8 or something like that and weren't quite so common. Rare these days.

The 253 was a heavy, gutless heap of shit. In fact, the minor deficit in power the 186 and 202 sixes had was more than made up for in power to weight, especially in such a small car.
In the LH/LX it was the 308 powered L34 and A9X variants that were special. It would be the equivalent today of Holden's flagship performance SS drivetrain in something the size of a Malibu.
