My 250 model actually went up to 2007, then it was updated to the 250r from 08-current.

I'd love to have a gpx 600, though I'd like my second to be a bit newer. I do really love the look of these bikes though.

Fuck.

How do other hungry Skeletons, kick-start bikes?

I'm 110lb and I feel like I can't get enough mass behind the lever the moment I get compression it stops or slows me.
>>
>>14877102
what size is your bike? I had an old 100cc dirtbike I kickstarted easily when I was like 13 and 4'8
>>
>>14877102
You basically stand up on the kickstarter, balancing the bike and yourself on one foot, then bounce up a little bit, fully extend your leg, then while still balancing yourself and the bike, bend your knee and lower your centre of gravity. When you get to about 90 degrees at your knee, push off the kickstarter like you're trying to jump as high as you can off it.

Even the hungriest skeleton can start pretty much any bike like this.

TL;DR don't just push down on the kickstarter, JUMP on it.

Air leaks from two corners where the sidewall got slightly pinched from the wheel getting stretched on
>No actual tearing, just bent

Guess I'll have to take the wheel to a shop tomorrow and have them do a quicky mount and balance. I'll probably have them balance the rear while I'm there. As for the rear wheel I need to order a new socket to take the wheel nut off

I don't even really mind it. The front wheel mounting is actually fucking great because there's just one pinch nut that just closes a little swinging arm that holds the axle in. I'm more pissed about my front tire not holding a bead. I was about to go out and ride the fucker with cracked fairings, scratches, bent rear wheel, and all.

Question for you /dbt/ I have about 4,000 USD in cash saved up for a bike, and I'm not sure if I want to just look for a bike around that much, or use it as a down payment for a newer bike around 8,000 USD. I'm looking at either the Yamaha R1 or CBR1000 for the newer bike choices. I'm not so sure what I can find for 4k, I want something with a bit more power, I've been riding dirtbikes since I was little and this will be my 3rd street bike.
>>
>>14877372
So what was the question?
>>
>>14877358

I know /o/ and the internet hate everything, but why is there so much of it for small bikes?
>>

New riders with little bikes are in no position to be a voice of authority on anything. The 300 rider in that screencap is a little twat for defending a shitty motovlogger who can't ride. It just makes him sound stupid.

how come all newish bikes make a squeaky sound from the engine (not the exhaust sound)?
>>
>>14877417
Well, personally I'd go for maybe a post-classic, an older liter bike or something like that. I just couldn't handle having a brand new bike though, every little scratch and stone chip would hit me right in the feels.

I like having an older bike I don't have to be precious about. When I come off (with stunning regularity) all I'm worried about is my own ass, not saving the bike, and If I'm OK (so far, every time), then it's just funny.

But I can imagine there is something to be said for having the newest and the best shit, my PC is like that and it feels good man. But then a stick of RAM fails and it's like my whole world is ending until I figure out whats wrong. Closest analogy I can think of.
