Guys!

Need help.

Lexus SC400 (toyota soarer uzz31)
>pic

There is a grinding/squealing noise coming from underneath at low speeds after 10 minutes driving.
Sounds like a wheel/brake.

Swapped brake pads. Still has same noise.

What underneath the car can rub/grind?
I need ideas.

Brakes look absolutely fine looking underneath.
Rotors/discs are fine.

Any ideas what to check?

Noise stops over 30mph.

Hubs, shit tires

As I am not a faggot, I do not have 20 inch rims.
Car is stock - rare - and pro.
260bhp, 6.5 seconds to 60 or what not.
Air suspension - self levelling.
Factory TV, no antennaes.

Toyota Soarer was $150,000 brand new.
Lexus SC400 was $50,000 brand new.

I have the Toyota with a Lexus badge.

It's being worked on - will have an M112 supercharger soon as this noise is fixed.

The hub could be the culprit...

Wheel bearing i guess...

There is a little play in the rear wheels...

Cheaper to buy a hub than replace bearing on this car...

Wonder what it turns out to be...

I had a gas tank protector rust off and part of what was left laid on the drive shaft. Similar sound thought it was a stuck brake (check the caliper if you haven't already) only heard it at low speed and I guess once it got higher the thing bounced off so I didn't hear grinding.

Hey thanks for that!
This is the kind of info i'm after.
"something out of the ordinary".

This gas tank protector - is this like a sheet of metal or something underneath the car, under the rear seats where gas tank is?

Probably I let the dealership do that one since I was confused about what the issue even was on my only car.

Probably look for rusty edges and/or bolts holding pretty much nothing could be anything similar too not just the gas tank protector.

Check your tail lights I had an infernal squeaking on acceleration and it was my taillight loose just vibrating in place on my gs400. Also make sure your brake shields are not rubbing on your wheels

Make sure your driveshaft clears the exhaust shield too
