L'Enfant really grew on me after I noticed how fucking groovy most of the songs were, especially The Axe.
I like The Way, but yeah there are WAY too many fillers and I hate the songs with the Lamb of God vocalist. I think it's probably their weakest album even if it has some fucking bangers like Oroboros, Vacuity and The Art of Dying.

Slam is arguably the truest and most honest form of heavy metal. It takes the 80's muscleman aesthetic and turns it into something totally new. What we have now is the modern version of what you would consider the apex of masculinity.

Depends on how long it is. High screams are easier first few seconds but you need more lungs to hold them longer. Gutturals need more focus to remain powerfull tho.

Not really. The only song that stuck was Pray, the rest just sounded so amateurish for them. Their debut kicks the shit out of it. It's not the clean vocals that bothered me, I actually like Joe's cleans better than that half-yelling half-growling shit he does, but the progression of the songs themselves just fell flat and the drums were stunted. Most of the riffs were forgettable, too. I don't know man, I'm hoping this was just a speed bump. I really like everything else in their discography, even Le Sausage.
