But with Death Grips, the "you had to be there" is online; it's /r/deathgrips, /mu/, their Facebook page, bbpoltergeist, the place to be is now the internet. NLDW's cover/leak and DG's breakaway from Epic, a double album getting announced that's released in two parts a year apart from each other, Fashion Week getting dropped and the songs spelling out "JENNY DEATH WHEN", a meme created by the fan base, we've experienced all of these things together online. The "you had to be there" is now the internet, and the time is now. If DG breaks up after Jenny Death drops, that will be it, no one else will experience Death Grips like we have, we were "there".
