>"Of course, I have a diverse taste in music!"
>listens only to "experimental" rock music
Why do people do this?
>>60318434
but I listen to every genre that has ever existed
Because they need to feel like something about them redeems them from being complete fucking losers
>>60318434
Don't confuse the "flavour of the month" with the lack of a diverse taste. Just because someone listens to a lot of one genre, doesn't mean they don't appreciate or enjoy music of other genres.
tl;dr - who fucking cares.
>tupac is one of the most overrated rappers
i mean fo'real, he isnt that good, there are many better rappers, why do all people praise him this fuckin much?
Because no other hip-hop artist has been more influential.
The guy was more than just a rapper. The persona, the aura, the voice, the message.
I don't think you get how greentext works

Not funny
>at concert
>two girls in front of me trying to dance with me
>mfw I just came for the music
>>60318194
you could've just said "oh sorry I'm not in the mood to dance" and they probably would've fucked off.
I know there are persistent people out there but you still have the right to say no.
This is why you show up on drugs to ensure that no one communicates with you physically.
>>60318194
What sort of pleb concerts are you going to where people actually dance?
What are some easy folk/singer-songwriter songs to play and sing along to? I've been playing guitar for about 6 months now and I want to start practicing playing and singing at the same time. Preferably standard tuning and no capo.
>>60318182
Mountain goats and NMH if you're up for it
>inb4 pleb
I started getting better at playing and singing at the same time by doing a bunch of Iron and Wine tunes. Not too hard to play and ends up sounding pretty good. Stuff like Naked as we Came and Each Coming Night
April 8th by NMH is pretty simple

Woah woah woah, calm down there, you're getting pretty far out past the core groups.
ITT: Bands where only one member is talented.

You're so right. Tina Weymouth is the one with all the talent.

Well they all sang and if BWPS showed anything, it's that the rest of the boys couldn't be replaced that easily. Their voices just suited each other really well.
Carl's voice in particular is also pretty spectacular and they all wrote a couple of good songs in their later years.
Though Brian is far and away most talented, the rest of them weren't useless.
I've realized that i feel tired of music lately. My habits of listening to all the music I can on all daily basis, my "gosh i love music! I can't get enough! Ahh gotta check my last.fm for recommendations! Need more music!" attitudes have all seemingly died down lately.
Suddenly I find myself in a place where I listen to maybe in the range of about four songs a day and prefer falling asleep to audio dramas instead of music.
Is it maybe an age thing? My music enthusiasm goes back to when I was a teenager (Napster and the rise of other file sharing...

I'm pretty sure everyone goes through this at one point or another. Just take a break for a while and you'll come back when you're ready.
I kindof have something similar; for most of my life I've depended on music to forget my problems and numb my depression, but lately the effect has been wearing off.
I think a lot about how terrible everything in the world is, and how all music and art do is help us forget those things, and that almost makes me hate music in a weird way, and I tell myself that all art is nothing but madness just like all our inane culture and nonsense people talk about all day, and I replace it with other shit like video games and youtube.
Who is the shittiest artists that the teenage /mu/tants love?

I am making album covers for any artists out there on /mu/!
Just specify what genre you produce and, if you want it on the cover, what your band/alias is and what the album is called. All albums are free to use and I won't judge you.

Anyone else look up to rapper Pitbull (aka Mr. Worldwide, aka Mr. 305 DALE, King of Miami Beach) as a sort of father figure meant to be idolized and emulated as a role model?
>>60317528
He is pure and I'm glad for his success.
