Requesting a girlfriend

I've searched my life's archives but couldn't find one
>>
>>60373291
if you really wanted a girlfriend you would have one. There are plenty of people that would be your girlfriend, you simply refuse to lower your standards because of some deluded sense of self worth despite being a loser who visits an anime picture board and posts shit.

Do you understand?

Don't really have anything specific to request, but if anyone's got any solid Grateful Dead shows that're lesser known I'm totally interested.

Can upload a ton more Memphis rap as well if anyone has any requests on that front.

I was gonna screencap and post the OxMu article from Indonesia, but just the general section is 23000px tall, so it's not really feasible.

Listening to this now, and there's some really interesting instrument here that I can't really put my finger on whether it's a ideophone or what. It sounds almost like a marimba, except played really fast on each note. The OxMu mentions that bamboo xylophones so I'm guessing it's one of those? The liner notes don't really give me much clarity.

Last track features some really prominent gendang drums, which makes it super pumping. A completely different beast to gamelan music. I would like to see the dance that accompanies this kind of music, apparently something similar to wrestling - that is, two guys pretend fighting each other; imitating the silat martial art.

I don't know whether y'all seen this yet or not but here's miley cyrus' new photoshoot, which is basically softcore porn http://dlisted.com/2015/11/13/miley-cyrus-bared-her-pussy-for-terry-richardson-and-candy-magazine/mileycandy6/

Do you guys think this is a huge step in the direction of pop stars becoming straight up pornstars? How long until they're the same thing?

this was posted literally thousand times last night, shes super skinny and skeletical, i like grimes body type and thicky girls

meh, miley has had her own 3edgy6u style for a while, i doubt it's anything larger. i'd say it's even too edgy for softcore porn.

Can you please help me out. I'm all out of studying music, I'm sick of listening to the same stuff every time I study.

Usually listen to post rock, classical or Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensamble and stuff like that, but I'm willing to listen to anything that won't be too imposing and take away too much attention.

>this album has great production

imo nobody seems to know exactly what they're talking about when they say "production", just that the album sounds well. it's just a vague term for most people and a blanket term for whatever they want.

so what do you mean when you use this term senpai? whats it really supposed to mean?
28 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>60371796
production is what the producer does.

Just like with music, production is an art with no solid rules.

You say "That piece of music is great" but its just your opinion. The same with production. If you say "wow this sounds amazing, more than just the chords / melody / rhythm / timbre / dynamics, this sound great for a reason beyond the musical elements." Thats good production.

When a lot of peoples opinions start to align on a single album being very well produced, you can start to give it a reputation for being well produced, depending on the taste of the people who make the claims.

some /mu/ core examples:
Well produced: Arcade Fire's Neon Bible.
Poorly Produced: NMH's ITAOTS
>>
>>60371796
I think people mean to say it sounds like it was recorded and mixed well when they say it has 'great production'.
>>
>>60371796
Same thing people say when a game has good graphics/sound or a movie with good-looking scenes and special effects.
You are trying to make an argument out of nothing.

So a friend of mine introduced me to this shitty band and I fucking don't get the point of why anyone would listen to it. Its NOT real music its just fucking cartoons. Seriously, he told me to listen to the songs by themselves if I didn't like the videos and I did but its just soulless generic crap by themselfs. I listened to mostly the songs that he said were the 'best' like Feel Good Inc. and 19-2000 and they were wtf-y and burned my ears. The cartoons aren't even good what are they even doing during the videos and why are they 3D at one point but 2D at others in the same fucking video. Bad animation to me imo. I don't mean to offend anyone by this but why listen to this generic crap 'music' they probably pulled out of their ass for easy money?

Can /mu/ explain the deal with prog? It's really good most of the time but then suddenly there can be an entire album of just random incoherent noise, like the second half of Moonchild in Court of the
