For me it's gotta be Adore, very adventurous given the fame and expectations thrust upon billy and co and to me its a triumph.

Most underrated one is Adore. That album has a really unique sound, and a majority of the hate is because people couldn't handle Billy without guitars. But damn, the whole Shame-Behold! The Nightmare-For Martha sequence is fucking fantastic

the lyrics involved the typical rap "drinking gin" etc and it didn't quite suit desu senpai
they were better off with lyrics that didnt quite pertain to anything or any culture in particular but rather about emotion or an action

It was the first time I've listened to Grimes, I give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. I think Pin is the best song on it... I also like Butterfly

i give III a lot of credit for having more of a sonic theme than the other albums. but II seems a little more varied and that is where it outshines III to me

They fell into all of the same traps as their predecessors. Overly long songs that take too long to go anywhere or sometimes don't go anywhere at all. Few ideas, very cringey at parts. That being said, they have a couple of truly great and classic pop songs.
