Why are people who listen exclusively to the best albums of a genre considered "casuals?" Why is it necessary to listen to shit in order to become a "hardcore fan?"
Albums have to be discovered before they become "the best".

>tfw music is my only outlet from loneliness but since I'm so lame as a human I don't know as much as I can about it
>tfw starting to become infatuted with this impossibly qt violin virtuoso and got her to start helping me get into more electronic music
>tfw eventually she will realize how absolutely plebtacular I am and cut me offf and I'll be left to try and lick my own wounds but won't be able to use music again because she claimed that territory for herself.

Realize that there is more to life than music and find other ways to impress/interest her
>tfw starting to fall in love with krautrock
>>60748948
adherence to concepts like krautrock are hugely responsible for people not being able to find music outside of /mu/-approved terminology on this board. Like how """krautrock""" is such a big fucking deal to people like you because you like Faust and Can and Kraftwerk but no one knows fucking anything about modern Brooklyn prog-rock despite it being one of the most interesting and exciting art music scenes in the world right now and has been for the past two decades, just because there...

I will pay to whoever knows this song.
No one knows music like you all.
I'm looking for a "rap"ish song that was pretty popular in 2010.
It sounded like it was by a white guy that was talking about cruising in his vehicle. Not sure of the type, but a definitely a car. It talked about the wheels too I think.
It was a song mostly popular with white people I think.
I will PayPal $10 to whoever gets it.
Yung Lean - S A D B O Y S
>>60748884
Not it from what I can hear. Also if you think you have it then post a paypal link or I'll even buy bitcoin and transfer over if that's safer.

Honestly, start with local jazz radio and find what you like from there. That's how I started. Radio is shit except for public jazz radio.

why is future bass so shitty?
is there anything positive worth noting in the genre?
i haven't listened to a ton of it but it seems like an adhd teenagers summer fantasy.
nothing but poppy 808-tier synths and constant random vocal slices, all wrapped in a childish self-conscious shell. i feel like there is something of worth in the genre, but its so specific that you can't really think outside of the box and still be 'future bass.' also it makes me gag just thinking abotu the genre. maybe i just need to listen to more of it, and find some aspect to...

has anyone seen Joanna Newsom this tour? I really want to go but it's a 4 jour drive and I'm wondering if its worth it?
>>60748585
hour **
Yeah, she was really fantastic in Utrecht. Good setlist and performance, except she played Baby Birch and redid the harp part so that it was a constant rhythm, which I didn't really like as much as the sparse album take.
4 hours is quite the drive but if you really love her music, you probably won't be disappointed.
