Been a visitor of this board for the past 2 or 3 months. A couple things are confusing to me, but I will only address one question. Is this album hated or loved on here? I honestly can't tell. (never listened to it or even heard of the band btw) The album cover just drew my attention.
I can't speak for everyone, but I fucking love it. Check it out, you may be surprised.

I dunno man I like it. Everyone has different opinions about everything. You can't summarize things in life. Every facet of existence has layers upon layers of different meanings depending on your perspective of the world.
Rec me intricate and challenging albums
I'm basically into scarufficore bullshit but I want to try finding music from somewhere other than there just since I feel like doing that limits me.

It's derivative of African-American genres of music and doesn't innovate within them. It's not sonically engaging enough, but that's fine because it's a hip hop album and you're supposed to pay attention to the lyrics first and foremost.

Swords was pretty vintage M.I.A. Borders I was less keen on, but the music video has made me come around to it. Wanna hear those Skrillex and Blaqstarr songs.
Only heard Borders due to political reason. I think it's very nice simple naive cute song.
Any albums similar to the 60's psych revival like Tame Impala and Unknown Mortal Orchestra but super lofi? Think that would be a pretty cool sound
