Thriller is the greatest album of all time and only a hipster contrarian (i.e. /mu/) would be a dissension with this statement as Thriller has fantastic production, incredible vocals, is extremely accessible, and has God-tier replay value.

This band's here and there. I love this album so much (So Here We Are gives me the feels) but I don't understand why they fucking went electronic. This is their only SOLID album. They're such talented musicians I dunno why they put down their guitars. I'm worried about HYMNS.

i agree, it all seems much less forced than their studio albums (not so much bleach, but definitely nevermind and 3/4 of in utero)

OP here. I will agree with you that of the 3 albums, In Utero is superior. It was a middle finger to the people who wanted another plain grungy album. Not to mention, it has more emotion than Nevermind.

I've been using maschine and have come to the point where I can't finish a song. I have lots of ideas but I cannot get over how hard it is to create independent scenes in my daw. Im thinking of switching to ableton or logic because of this. Any advice?

Hey is there anybody here who knows theory well? I'm just having a hard time with borrowed chords. i understand using chords from a parallel minor. so trying to exercise this i decided to pick a song i thought does this but i ended up more perplexed. the song is inmates by the good life.
it uses Dmaj Bbmin Bmaj Amaj and G. I've been trying to figure out what key its in/ what chords are being borrowed as well. any help would be great. also if not just a gear thread? this is my Mustang.
