Name some good movies about music to watch. I'll start.
>Nowhere Boy
>CBGB
>The Doors
>Hear My Train A Comin'
I wasn't huge on Nowhere Boy. It seemed kinda cartoony or something. Crappy description, I know.
Here's a few docs I've enjoyed lately, most are easy to find:
>Breadcrumb Trail
>The Devil and Daniel Johnston
>Muscle Shoals

>CBGB
>good
it was such shit that everybody immediately forgot about it
Nick Drake's documentary is probably one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen. It's called "A Skin Too Few".
ITT: pleb guilty pleasures
I like the first song. time consumer? something like that
but then it's all the same but less good
it's basically just slightly advanced pop punk with a singer of geddy lee tier stupidity
I mean I don't really feel guilty for liking it but if I showed it to a friend their reaction would very possibly be cringe
who are the real cancer of mu? i think scaruffi drones, because they just don't have their opinions
people who enjoy music
the entirety of /mu/
but whenever /pol/ comes in things get just a bit worse
which one is worse, /mu/ or /a/?

Interested in seeing some up and coming bands from different areas. Post your location and relation to them as well.
I'll start:

They're some kids I know from school here in Illinois. Alternative/indie. Probably still need a few years to grow musically but they're not bad.

Sorry for the gauntlet of shit, but I just like these people (though some of the music needs work, especially the vocals for a few bands)

So the music is enticing this feeling? You're not even going to talk about the album? How you precisely feel about each song? The genre itself? The band itself?
I don't really care about your feelings for being so vague but their 4th album is pretty good. A shame their 5th album was mediocre at best

You're a fucking idiot.
Musicians are the only ones who can get away with being manlets.

About to drop acid for the first time, what albums should I listen to? Making a YouTube playlist atm with some of my favs but need a bit more stuff.
try ocean songs by dirty three if you want something really sweet.

flying lotus is the perfect artist to listen to on acid in my opinion. until the quiet comes especially. it was far from my favorite album by him but for some reason it just translated to acid so well. just be careful because there are a couple tracks near the tail end (electric candyman and i think hunger) that are a little creepy
>>61121931
The Books - the lemon of pink, lost and safe, thought for food.
Usually you want to listen to music you normally like but try listening to The Books, It should blow your mind.
Well /mu/ which is it?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meeting_People_Is_Easy
>Meeting People Is Easy takes place during the promotion of Radiohead's 1997 release OK Computer, containing a collage of video clips, sound bites, and dialogue going behind the scenes with the band on their world tour, showing the eventual burn-out of the group as the world tour progresses
>Unlike other music documentaries, the film does not focus on the band's friendship with one another, families, or anything else outside the direct production,...
