How did a shit tier ghetto trap rapper score an 80 on metacritic, making it one of thr best reviewed albums of 2015?
I mean honesty, just how much white guilt do these cuck critics have? They overrate the fuck out of rappers like this while being notoriously harsh on rock artists, holding them to a higher standard - a prodigiously higher standard
Pitchfork gave this bullshit trap rap album an 8.4. Let that sink in.
This is a song from the album, sounds like any generic top 40 hit:

Critics will jump on any trend band wagon to stay relevant, if rock was popular they would do it, if jazz was popular they would do it, if Kpop was popular they would do it.

Because one of the biggest names in Hip Hop of 2015 joined up with the biggest name in Hip Hop of the last few years.
Also like you said, their album sounds like a generic top 40 hit and thus is good by market standards.
>'white' genres are held to a higher standard in music while 'black' genres are basically given free critical acclaim
>whites and asians are held to an extremely standard when it comes to being accepted into a uni while blacks can enter with average scores
how can we ever expect the african american community to progress if we basically say "it's okay to be average"?
breakup music?
>>61576514
depends on the type of breakup, your reasons to breakup, and the phase of the breakup you are in
here's a "meh. I guess i'm kinda finally getting over the 8 year relationship that I fucked up entirely leading her to breakup a week ago" song:

here's a song for when the breakup makes you realize you that put way too much of your happiness into a single person, so when she broke up you stared into an abyss of loneliness and had no friends to talk to, and now you're making deep, meaningful changes to your life:

great album.
Since I Left You always helped me after a breakup. i kinda need something happy to distract me, get me on my feet again. you're not me, though, you might need something to think to, or something sad to dwell on those feelings and let it out.
It's 2016 and we still don't have this.
>implying there's any good music being released these days
>implying you don't check your shit favorite band's website every minute for new info

Hey /mu/sicians of this board I'm interested in finding out your individual creative process with song writing and arranging, doesn't matter the medium be it guitar, FL on your laptop, or a fucking kazoo. Skill level doesn't matter either. I'm making this thread so other musicians can look into your mind and maybe try it out, I'll start
>Write lyrics and try to figure out that exact feelin of those words on the guitar by trying different scales and chords and putting together what feels right and whereComment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I usually stop at number 2
I write poetry, then make music that accurately captures the emotions of the poetry. Then I record the poetry over the music for myself, and release just the music without vocals for my Soundcloud.

Is it really possible to improve your singing voice?I sound like a combination of Viper and Bladee and of course i dont expect to sound like David Sylvian but will be great if i can do something to not sound at least this bad.
I think you can at least train to hit the notes properly. The actual color of your voice is not gonna change too much, but there are plenty of artists that do not sound great but still make it work by being able to sing well, despite not sounding great, if you get my drift.
>>61575806
I get what you mean but would you mind to show me some examples?
