This album is so gay and boring why do you guys love it so much
I'm bisexual and pretty boring
Because I'm gay and boring.
But actually, it's a heartbreaking album, with some fantastic lyricism and while not having many instruments, compared to Illinois, the guitar and banjo are beautiful in it.
It isn't boring at all. If you want super interesting go listen to Adz or a lie bootleg of one of the shows on this tour. It works very well in the context of Sufjan's work and even better if you've ever lost a parent. It's also just fucking beautiful.

I listen to music throughout the day and usually have a dedicated listen to a new album along with playing guitar for an hour atleast

Kim's responsible for many of their songs and her voice doesn't start sounding particularly thrashed until the later 90's albums. There's a difference between even Bull In The Heather Kim and The Ineffable Me Kim.

i only just got into him, he makes chill ass music. 'unluck' perfectly captures what i personally feel like when i'm stoned [DUDE WEED LMAO] like the flashy sounding way it is idk how to describe it. 'life round here' is a fantastic song also and it was sampled in a hiphop song i love (cold stares by nosaj thing ft. chance the rapper) and i didn't know that when i was listening to it first and i had a holy shit moment it was really nice. the albums are very solid but can be boring in some spots

/mu/ is just.... Baffleingly picky. It's almost like they go into everything trying as hard as they can to not like it. I don't understand why anyone would want to live that way.
I like the majority of things I hear, even if its just on a superficial level for a lot of it. But I feel like living life like that just makes you happier.
