ive listened to this album a couple of times and i dont really get what's so special about it? can someone explain why it is so highly regarded on here? like it's not bad at all... just not incredible

Abbey road has really memorable stuff in it, but revolver just... idk 'sounds' better even though it was made years earlier and with outdated equipment

yea man I loved the byrds. they were never special enough to stand out like other bands with that harmony oriented folky stuff. Like the Beach Boys or The Beatles. Their production was just never in that level. They're like a band for bob dylan fans who want some harmony and just better written music.
