Can you enjoy noise without drugs?
Everyone I've talked to who genuinely likes noise is addicted to opiates or benzos. Which makes sense because I could not fathom how anyone could enjoy this garbage sober.
You should separate yourself from those people. They sound like leeches.

Probably but I'm a pill junkie so I don't know for sure
i don't do drugs and i enjoy some noise
What are some releases you've been digging lately, /mu/?
this is a really good post-rock release. Does anyone have it in 320kbps?
>>63683556
Also this one, does anyone have it in 320?
>>63683556
lewd
I remember hearing Jenny for the first time and being totally floored. From the first note of the guitar dirge through Corin screaming 'didn't we almost have it, didn't we almost...'. I didn't know it was about Corin and Carrie until later, but I could feel the hurt from the first listen. Stunning closer.
What are your favorite final tracks?
Sun's coming up is just a perfect ending to Lonerism
>>63683724
Agreed
I was so disappointed with currents closer
The same went with the rest of the album desu
Only a few good songs
>>63683847
I really enjoyed Currents at first but there was no lasting appeal, big let down
Is this the first meme grime album?

Holy shit
I don't even understand Dutch but this guy has amazing flow. Anybody else ever listened to Sevn Alias. How is he looked at in the Dutch hiphop scene?
For the uninitiated:
Ma3lish:

I'm Dutch and to be fair, the lyrics are shit. It's about how he has everything (cars, money, expensive houses) but he just wants more.
Basically your typical "gangsta rap".
Also, the way he mixes in Maroccan is quite annoying and is frowned upon in The Netherlands.
Kanker /Dutch/ fag here.
Holland has some really shitty hiphop in my opinion but I like Fresku though (but he's kinda whiny sometimes)
He makes fun of the stereotypical rap persona that a lot of hiphop artists and fans cling to.

Dude I'm not even Dutch but yall have got a great hiphop scene.

Can we have a nice Kayo Dot general?
>what is your favorite album
>do you prefer motW or KD
>have you seen Toby Driver on his last tour
>have you ever seen KD live and what it was like
>are you hyped for new record
>thoughts on pic related
etc., go!
i prefer maudlin of the well, always seen them as more emotional and evoking, although the music toby did with kayo dot is more mature.
i have to go with the first album, but lovve the rest as well. I really like his approach to heavy music, for example Blue Lambency Downward is in my opinion one of the heaviest songs i have heard and it doesent even has distorted guitars.
>>63682167
yeah motW was my first love but I still prefer KD because I get a lot more from that music
also I really like new style of from Hubardo onwards, seem like they outgrown their need for being 'serious' and just seem more natural this way, but I love their old style as well
>>63682000
My personal favourite is actually Coffins on Io. As a huge fan of gothic stuff and progressive rock/metal it's the perfect storm for me. But Choirs of the Eye, Hubardo and Blue Lambency Downward are close. I got into Driver's stuff through Kayo Dot and have listened to their albums more so I'd have to say I prefer them over motW by default.
Definitely hyped for the new album, and I'll see them if they come to the UK.
Now listen kiddos, here's how to make GOAT tier coffee.

What are the "essentials" for dance-music? I've just gotten into DJing and feel really lost when there's millions of stuff to listen to.
Does anybody with experience have recommendations? I'd be happy to discuss.
Cheers

>step one: find a band that you already know of and like
>step two: go on spotify
>step three: go on artist radio
>step four: enjoy
The hustle, the macarena, and the cha cha slide are all good places to start
