Trying to bring back a classic: /mu/ re-creates an album cover, tile by tile. Album mosaic game. Let's see if I get enough people for this to actually happen again. Decided for this Sufjan Stevens album because it looks like a fun one to re-create.
>Roll a number (and see if it is still available)
>Recreate your tile in paint, gimp or whatever
>Post it here, 100x100 px, tilenumber.png (84.png for example)
I'm going to post a better picture of the rules in my next comment.

What albums invoke a really specific memory for you /mu/?
>Making out in a mall parking lot in the backseat of my truck for the last time with ex-gf before having to leave to an out-of-state college.
>Laying in bed, watching a pretty violent rainstorm beat down on my windows. Surrounded by blankets, only moving to flip the record.
>Nervously driving my date to prom, making small talk while I pop this album on.

playing the witcher 3 during the summer, trying to get over a girl
What are the objectively S tier female musicians in terms of discography strength? solo or in a band?
heres what I have?
PJ Harvey, Kate Bush, Bjork, Aretha Franklin, Régine Chassagne, Elizabeth Fraser, Patty Smith, Nina Simone, Joanna Newsom, Rachel Goswell, Corin Tucker, Carrie Brownstein, Janet Weiss, Kim Gordon, Joni Mitchell, Nico, D'arcy Wretzky, Bilinda Butcher, Beth Gibbons, Tina Weymouth, Fiona Apple, Georgia Hubley, Kim Deal, Isobel Campbell
Is there anyone I missed? Did I name someone you don't think should be there?
Also, as much as I love Grimes Lavren and Annie I don't think they're quite there yet, so please don't post em

Daydream Nation.
Please help. Im essentially in this mood and would like something to go with it
>I managed to catch DIIV at their show last night in Edinburgh. Cole was noticeably ill almost broke down on stage and kept saying that he could not go through with the show and even mentioning that he wanted to die. He did go through the entire show but you could see it was taking a toll on him. Even forcing himself to play Doused with the support of the crowd to end the show. Once the show finished he just lied face down on stage the entire time, while the other band members were meeting and chatting with the fans. The show in Newcastle for tonight was cancelled and quite possibly the remaining shows of the European tour as well.
What struck me the most was, what he said right before they played Dopamine. He said "This song is about drugs. Don't ever do hard drugs... It will really FUCK you up." in a serious tone. I could not help but to think of the worst... Being a huge DIIV fan it was difficult witnessing all that last night despite their amazing performance from the band. I genuinely hope Cole feels better and hope he is okay. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
not being talked about much but tour is confirmed to be cancelled now & i'm still wondering how anyone involved in putting a still recovering addict out on a massive tour would be a good idea. anyone else manage to catch them recently?
Wow, did any of the other members say anything about his condition? Do you think it had anything to do with that really nasty review of their show in the Guardian?
>>63638060
think that article might have something to do with it. touring is stressful as fuck anyway & cole has mentioned countless relapses since "he got clean". i saw them in manchester & it was a good but odd show. cole was losing his shit over a projector not working which took a good ten mins or so of awkward "turn up the fucking projector" talk. i think it just highlights the current industry's need for rigorous touring is hardly accommodating to a healthy person let alone someone who's unstable (which covers most musicians at diiv's level).
Hes so pathetic
He forced himself to get into hard drugs to be like Cobain, its not even authentic
Hes acting like he didn't realize drugs were bas before he started, he wanted le tragic rockstar image all along
i want to lick sohye's gooky face all day every day desu

Other guy is right, it's Matte Black. its the Cort MBC-1 model to be exact.
Also I've never had any issues hitting the volume knob, and I have sasquatch hands. If you think theres a problem you've obviously never played a stratocaster, or you think that's shit positioning.
as for the pickup layout it's great, go from clean to grit with a toggle. Gonna switch out the neck for a sustainiac eventually though....

I use GP 5.2, which is probably my favorite iteration. I got turned off on 6 WAY too fast - but i do use it to practice sometimes when I cant find a certain songs backing track.
