my theory is that music theory just limits the potentiality of music
So I feel like a teenage girl right now but I finally got into The Smiths after loving TQID for a while and now they're the only thing I can listen to. Can we talk about The Smiths? What's your favorite album, songs, riffs, lyrics etc.
When I first started listening to them I did it mainly for Morrissey's singing and I thought the guitar playing blended together and made a quite generic sound across their discography and now I have no idea what the fuck I was thinking. Johnny Marr's guitar playing is fucking amazing and probably my favorite part of the band. My favorite album right now is probably Hatful of Hollow and I'm currently obsessed with the John Peel session version of This Charming Man
