I'm trying to find a song, I heard it at a head shop this afternoon. It's a female slowly singing "dum dum dee dum dum dum". I really can't describe it any better than that. I also remember it being in the opening/ending credits of a movie...

I have a little more than 1500 songs on my phone. It's all music I like and will listen to at anytime because I usually just put on shuffle. And it's all downloaded through Spotify Premium.

When will guitar-driven music (pop, rock, and otherwise) make a comeback, if ever? Anyone else getting synth fatigue?
I don't know what you're listening to if you think guitar driven music isn't still pretty popular. It might not make up most of the top 40 but there's still tons and tons and tons of guitar music being released every year even if it's not as popular as hip hop or synth driven pop music.

I know there's a lot of guitar driven music being made, it just really doesn't have a hold of the zeitgeist. The biggest "rock" bands (Twenty One Pilots, Chvrches, The 1975, Radiohead, Coldplay, Tame Impala, etc) are not very guitar-oriented these days.

I'm also drinking but it's more because i like the feeling and taste of the cocktails rather than a complete focus on relieving the pain of life. that is only a secondary objective as through my actions life has gotten noticeably better and the self hatred has lessened
