TL;DR: I want suggestion for best listing up songs on my Ipod, so that I can best group bands with the same style of music together, better.

I've been listing up the bands with one common Albumsartist, so that I could find them all in one big group, while still letting the song have the artist's name on it.

As for album, I start it all by giving it a number. (01) For classical, (05) for classical rock, etc. Also, within these, I have subgroups hat are given numbers as, (12,3) For International; Spanish, etc.

The problem is, Since they all are listed under the same artist, and all the albums begins with a number, I now have to scroll trough well over 500 songs just to find one special song/artist.

My question is, should I start listing the songs by naming the albumartist "(01)Music" Instead of the albums? or is there a better way?

Convince me that "Revolution 9" was not simply an elaborate prank on Lennon's part to secretly prove that anyone would praise The Beatles output as genius even if it was just a hodgepodge of sound and experimentation that was ultimately empty.

Pretty much bang on point.

I've been trolling the /noise/ fags with a similar project because those idiots will listen to anything.

why are you even bothering listening to subgenres if you've come to the conclusion that all rap is bad

I'm not sure if grindcore even is underground or mainstream but do you think that kind of music (I do have respect for it) should remain underground or can it rise into the mainstream with bands like Napalm Death (depending if people consider them to be grindcore or death metal)?

>>
Grindcore is pretty self-imitating. Melodic innovations to the style being introduced by bands I hope will be influenced by Gridlink, and the melodic cybergrind niche if it ever rises in popularity, could give it some mainstream appeal.
Stuff like this isn't quite there, but with """"""""conventional production""""""" it might be closer.
