Who's the worst fanbase in music?
I'd say it's a toss-up between Queen and Radiohead fans. Both fanbases are insufferable in the same general way. From my experience, as soon as they find out somebody is even passively not a fan they take it upon themselves to explain why that person just doesn't understand.
Once I had a guy ask my favorite Queen album and I simply said "I don't know, I'm not that into Queen" and I am not exaggerating when I say the ensuing lecture on why I didn't understand their musicianship was over five minutes long. I didn't get a word in edgewise, just sat there and listened to a meandering spergfest about "technical skills" and shit.

I've liked all the singles that've dropped so far so I'll give this a listen.
Only listened once, but enjoyed it quite a bit. Definitely has some great tracks and moments.
Well, it's my least favorite album so far, they've only released half the tracklist, so not boding well.
Thus far Stop Desire is the only song I've liked.
I get that people don't think this holds up to Animal Collective's earlier work, but this really is the pinnacle of modern psych pop.

The hocketing is supposed to be Animal Collective's integration of cubism and dadaism into their work. It's supposed to be startling and inaccessible. People also don't take notice of the heavy political influence on the lyrics.
it doesn't compare well to their earlier work. it feels like it's made with a different process and different goal. it's a very good record when you don't try to treat it like feels.
The Burglars has to be one of the best songs they have ever made.
The whole way this albums shifts and layers its vocals is actually uplifting. I haven't felt this way about AC since Jam
